What are good responses to say to when a customer says they're just looking?
okay so i work at journeys kidz, a shoe store and everytime i ask a customer if they need help with anything or if theyre looking for anything in particular, i usually get the answer "i'm just looking" but what can i say to that and hopefully make a sale? and what are some tips on making small talk with them? my manager keeps nagging me that i have to make better small talk but i literally don't know what else to say besides complimenting something about their outfit.

If you will consider other kind of stones, pretty sapphires, rubies or emeralds will be less than diamonds. So there are options besides second hand. NiceOne, about the whole blood diamonds issue, I am not entirely sure buying older stones make it better. Blood diamonds aren't new. They've existed for decades and there are a lot more checks on diamond sources now than there used to be. Perhaps pick a diamond that comes with a certificate that traces the source. A lot of jewellers do that now.

Hi, I bought a Pfaff 230 260 sewing machine at a garage sale recently. It did not come with a manual, bobbin case, or a bobbin. I have ordered the bobbin case and the bobbin. I do not know how to disengage the flywheel (I think that is what its called), so the needle won't go up and down when I am putting thread on the bobbin.
