The .rar files I downloaded have weird icon, I can't extract them! Help me please!?
How many is it? Is there "FF12 Inter eng.rar.002 , FF12 Inter eng.rar.003" other files? Because the .001 extension refers to a split files done by a program called HJsplit. In order for you to extract the file, you need to download all the parts and join them using HJSplit before extracting them using Winrar. http://www.hjsplit.org/
Winrar wont let me extract my sims 2 files?
Did you download it from Cnet.com? Thats where I downloaded mine. Well if when you download sims 2 content it should apear as books, not a blank paper. If it doesn't appear as books then try open with..... Or if you think you downloaded it from the wrong site uninstall it then install it from Cnet.com. Make sure if it appears with books when or if it already does left click your mouse. Select extract here or extract files if theres a lot of files in the winrar document. Hope I helped :)

Try extracting them to a temp folder and take a look at them. I think there should be a setup file (setup.exe?) in there that you have to run, after which you can delete the files you extracted.
