I want to play survival mode in Minecraft, but I'm scared of the noises that the mobs make (and I'm scared of Endermen and Creeper). How do I play without actually putting the volume on silent?
Well, as the others have said, you can play on peaceful.There are, however, other ways. Get yourself a parrot. Tame it with seeds and use a lead to get it home. The noises it makes are hilarious, and can also be used as a warning system as to what mobs are nearby.Design a wall around your house, one that encloses any farms you might have, and light your property up. There are some pretty cool designs for street lights if you don’t want torches everywhere.Get yourself good armour and a shield. Then enchant the armour further.I would disagree about turning your sound down or off, since the noises they make actually warn you that they’re there and you can run.Endermen are…different. My boyfriend’s fallen right on top of one before (It was the easiest way to leave out base, jump down from the roof.) We’ve both walked right into them as well. As long as you don’t look at them above the knees, you’re pretty much fine.If you have a massive amount of iron and a few pumpkins, make iron golems and pop them in your property as well.

Minecraft walks into random directions without me pressing any buttons?
This has been happening to me for a looooooong time, it happens all the time and it pretty much makes minecraft unplayable. It usually happens when I'm fighting mobs or placing blocks, my character just starts walking in a random direction (usually forward). Now this is extremely annoying obviously, because when I'm fighting mobs I automatically walk into them, causing me to take unnecessary damage. It also makes it very hard to fight creepers when you're character starts walking into it because obviously then it will explode right in your face. Or when I'm on a high platform and I just walk of causing me to die of fall damage, or I walk into lava. You should see what a big problem this is, and I hope someone can help me fix this soon. I've never heard anyone else have this problem (only on my computer and my laptop), and I can't find any help on the internet either.
