How To Fix Bleached Hair

Bleached hair fix FAST??

NEVER use developer with fashion hair dye, fashion dies can be applied to the hair straight out of the box / jar / tube. The only thing you can add to fashion colours is white conditioner. The developer most likely damaged her hair (it is peroxide which lightens your hair a bit), specially if it was over 20 vol. The developer plus the dye turned her hair orange.
No you don't want to dye it over, in the condition it is now. It may turn her hair a strange brown shade or you could end up frying her hair even more. Give her hair some deep conditioning treatments, put a toner on it like wella t18 (you can get it from Sally Beauty or Amazon) to help remove some of the yellow. You don't want to bleach all ready fried hair. Developer and fashion colours just don't play well together.
If she has darker hair and she wants a fashion colour, then you should bleach her hair to a light blond (deep condition it) then put the fashion colour on it. Don't mix fashion colour hair dyes with any thing but white conditioner.

How do you fix bleached hair gone orange?

First, condition your hair really, really well for some period, because the bleaching is the most destructive to hair cuticle, other than permanents, on the planet.  Then get a de-brassing rinse.  It's essentially a purple that will counteract the orange by making it back to more of a brown.  Will you stay platinum blonde?  Probably not.  That's an ongoing problem with someone with darker hair wanting to lighten it more than a few shades.  Not only do you end up orange often, but roots show in like 2 seconds.

Uneven bleached hair - at home fix?

Sort of quick question. What is the best way to fix an uneven bleach job? Should I sort of "spot bleach" and first hit the darkest sections, then go back over the lighter sections?
Or should I do a "shower capping" or "soap capping" where I mix the bleach normally (2:1) with 30 developer, and add shampoo, lather it all up, let it set for about half an hour, then wash it all out?

My biggest issue was that I didnt apply the bleach correctly. I had about 9 oz of product to work with but this is my first time ever bleaching my hair. I did the sections too big, I tried to rub in the bleach to the strands, and the bleach kept drying out ON my hair.
Should 9oz have been enough? I have thick, dark brown, coarse, wavy hair.

I know it is possible to do my hair at home. About half of my hair is now a light brown while the other half is a mixture of slightly orange all the way to the pale yellow I want. The entire bottom layer that I started with, is a lemony yellow, it's the top section that's all crazy.

I checked my hair to make sure it could stand another bleaching session. My hair is softer now then it was before the bleaching! lol. And I know my scalp can take the lathering, the first attempt didnt sting in the slightest.

Im worrying because I dont want to do another typical bleaching session and not have enough product to work with. But I dont want to do the shower capping/ soap capping if the parts that are already where I want them, are going to turn to mush from overbleaching.

How much money does it cost to fix bleached hair?

Okay.. first of all you will not be able to go back to the exact same color you had before you bleached it. The stylist will get as close as they can but you have one process on your hair so that will affect the color you will be getting so keep that in mind. They will have color swatches and you can hold those up to your hair to match as close as possible. They also may suggest getting the color all over your hair and not just on the bleached part. That will be up to you. When you ask about price ask about the charge for just the bleached part and all over. Price range is different for different parts of the country. In my area you could pay anywhere form $65.00 - $100.00. Remember if you go cheap it may look like a cheap job!

How can I fix damaged bleached hair help!!?

Doing a quick count - four bleaches and a "lightening" five different colors including the very harsh black -and you bleached away the black so you used an even stronger bleach... Sorry, your hair is toast at this pojnt. That's way too many harsh chemical treatments in two years and nothing will "bring it back" at this point. It's dry and stiff due to irreparable damage. Coconut oil will make your hair greasy and not much more. At this point not even the most expensive conditioner will help. Your hair shaft has layers and too many chemical treatments can strip away the layers of your hair. The outer layers make hair soft and shiny and they are quite fragile. All the dye and bleach has stripped the outer layers of the hair shaft and once that's gone nothing will bring it back. any more bleaching or permanent peroxide and ammonia based dyes will make your hair worse, not better. At this point you need to stop the chemical torture and let your natural hair grow out. The re-growth will have the outer layer intact and that hair will be shiny and soft -like it was before all the dyeing and bleaching. To compensate for the brass you will need to use an ammonia and peroxide free type color that coats the hair rather than removes and replaces color. These glazes do wash out after 8 washes but they aren't as harsh and damaging to already damaged hair as more dyeing and bleaching would be. You can use these every six to eight weeks without the damage of permanent dyes. You should do as little as possible to your hair until it grows out again. If you bleach your hair again you could end up burning the hair off completely, something you do not want to do.
