First of all, you should determine where the problem lays.Get Pingplotter from the web.Let it run with a target to your server.The moment you lag out, alt tab to Pingplotter and make a screenshot.Investigate the information on the screen.What often happens is that players immediately blame the server.Learn how the internet works.Your line to that server is not a 1 hop straight from your router to the server.First hop is your computer to your routerSecond hop is your router to the cabinet in your area.Third hop is from the cabinet to your provider, possible there is another network in between still.Fourth hop goes from your provider onto a backbone connection.For example if I log into a Ghost Recon server in North Carolina, my connection used to run over Above [dot] net from Amsterdam to Ireland to the US.Any hop can cause the problem.The game’s developers / network engineers only control their server connection.Same as that you can only control your computer to your router.Anything in between is from different entities/companies.When you figure out at which hop the problem appears, you may be able to get in contact with an engineer to get to the bottom of it.Good luck.ps.
