How To Fix Network Limited On War Thunder

I need basic facts about the Vietnam War.?

I am in 7th grade and need to write a short essay on the Vietnam War. I have found many websites, but they are all very detailed. Can anyone give me brief facts as to causes, important events and final outcome and/or direct me to a website that has a more simplified discussion of events for kids. Thanks.

How do you fix lag in world of Tanks?

Zenfar hit some really good points.  Your internet and computer need to be.. good.  If you have some top of the line computer but a crappy connection then you are going to lag.  If you have super fast internet but a crappy computer then you are going to lag.  Your download speed is always faster.  When you get your internet, you will want to make sure you upload speed is over 5 MB.  Don't play across WiFi.  WiFi is slower than a direct connection.  Have a dedicated video card on your computer that has dedicated memory.  Not shared memory.  The video card on motherboards are typically not good enough to play at decent video clarity settings.  16GB is more than enough memory to play and cut out lag.  Background operations like virus scans, downloading or listening to music from a stream (spotify) can slow your connection.  Also, steaming can slow down your connection so someone watching NetFlix or VUDU while you are playing can cause lag.  Now it's a matter of distance (which you may have no control over) from your ISP and the location of the WOT server you play on.  Those programs that "guarantee" a better gaming experience over some gaming internet server are no good.  IMO.  I do recommend a program that may help with checking your settings for the internet and setting them to what could be better.  If you are far away from your ISP, using dial up (which I have talked to people who were trying to play using that), have a laptop that is not classified as a gaming laptop, or got a desktop from Walmart for 300 dollars then you will have lag issues until those things are changed.Good Luck.

My PC shuts down and reboots when I fire-up War Thunder/start a match. What is the issue and how do I solve it?

Honestly, the first thing would be to check that no video settings have changed (you can do this from the launcher) or try changing them to the lowest settings and see if that works. If that didn't fix it, re-install WT. Re-installing WT didn't work? Either update or roll back your graphics drivers, this may be the cause.Failing that, go buy some air in a can (compressed electronics duster) and use that to clean out dust from your cpu/gpu heatsinks to make sure it's not a hardware issue. If doing that doesn't work, try a Windows system restore. If it still happens at this point, I really have no more advice short of a full Windows re-install.I personally play WT and have had my share of issues with the launcher, but nothing quite like this. The worst issues I've had were usually fixed with a full re-install of the game at worst.

I’m only motivated to study algebra when it involves war. Is there an algebra quiz site that focuses on military-relevant word problems?

I’m going to assume this is a sincere question.I don’t know. I don’t know if there is an algebra quiz site that focuses on military-relevant word problems. When they teach algebra at West Point, perhaps they’re trying to help the cadets feel that this is relevant to their future, so they put in lots of military-related problems. But I don’t know if that’s true either. And honestly, I hope it’s not. I hope that there isn’t anywhere an algebra site that focuses on war. I understand this would help you, the OP, feel motivated, but it would make most other people feel quite demotivated. Algebra isn’t specifically good for war.Pedagogically, this would be a poor idea. The value of word problems is that they make you interpret a story and build a suitable mathematical model. This is a useful skill to have, beyond the ability to merely manipulate symbolic equations and solve them.To develop that skill, you want students to tackle many different and seemingly unrelated scenarios and train their minds to see the common underlying abstract ideas. If all questions are centered on one particular domain, you’ll experience a very limited range of this activity, and that’s less helpful.I sincerely believe you’ll be better off questioning your own assessment about the single-mindedness of your motivation, and either finding other areas that excite you to model, or teaching yourself the needed discipline to solve problems about non-war situations, even if they seem less interesting. Both of those efforts would possibly be more useful for you than the algebra exercises themselves.

Did soldiers use body armor in WW2?

Hello,Short answer: not quite.Up to World War I, soldier protection was limited to the head, in the form of a helmet made of hardened leather. Its most infamous form is the German Pickelhaub. However, as the war raged on, this helmet proved useless against shrapnel. Allied and German testing led to the adoption of a steel helmet. There were attempts at using steel plate to protect other parts of the body but none saw widespread use.During World War II, strategic bombing was used by the Allies against Germany. The latter's air defense network included heavy artillery, most notably the 88 mm gun; this weapon fired a round that burst into shrapnel at the altitude the bomber flew. Shrapnel could tear apart entire aircraft sections, and the human bodies within. The British came up with a jacket with steel plate, appropriately called Flak (or FlAK) Jacket, as a way to provide some protection to air crews, and ease a little bit the surgeons' work. However, it was deemed too bulky to use inside British heavy bombers.Enter the US Army Eight Air Force, one of the American units that bombed Germany in daytime during the war. This meant more artillery aimed at aircraft during bombing raids, and more shrapnel injuries. Americans tested British flak jackets, liked them and adopted them into USAAF use. The British gladly ceded their inventories to them.Surface combatants and aircraft carrier crews in the Pacific also used flak jackets. A flattop deck is a hot, dangerous place, especially in wartime, with aircraft taking off and landing, and incoming enemy fire. Loose objects could become deadly projectiles with propeller wash.Other than that, body armor was not used widely during World War II.Body armor in its current form began with the Vietnam War.Summing up, most of the soldiers in WWII had just a steel helmet as body armor. Bomber pilots used flak jackets, as well as navy crews.Hope this helps.Juan

Can I safely login to my router via Wi-Fi?

Thanks for the A2A! As others have already noted, logging in via wi-fi to your router's management console will not damage your router. Your router is designed to establish wi-fi connections with nearby devices and then send and receive data through those connections. It doesn't make a difference whether that data is part of a session with some upstream server or with a webserver built in to the router itself (that's what the management console is, basically.) Suppose company X makes a router that can be damaged by things like changing settings via wi-fi, or downloading files too soon after a reset. Most people would try those things anyway, not knowing there was any harm in it, and soon their router would slow down or completely fail. In that situation are most people likely to think, "Oh, I did something wrong, I better research this before I get my next Company X router?" No, most people would just think "Company X sucks! I'm not buying another router from them!" So even if there were some inherent problem with routers where they could be damaged by stuff like that, the manufacturers would be highly motivated to solve it rather than just putting out routers that break under normal use.
