Hey, I am kind of in the same boat, my daughter is 7 months old and its our 7 year anniversary this Sunday. My little girl goes to bed at about 8:00 so Sat night I am going to cook him his favorite meal and dessert and then rent a movie and snuggle on the couch. We are kind of tight on money and can't get a babysitter either so we will just keep it low. I did get him a card, I think he will be happy with it. He really just wants to spend some alone time with me. Usually when I get our daughter to bed I have to get the clothes washed, clean the dishes etc. so we barely have time for each other. So tomorrow night I plan to let everything go and relax with him. If he is anything like your husband than this should work great for you.
