I just turned 14 this month, and i went to a plastic surgeon 2 months ago. He said that he would like to wait until Christmas time or next summer. some plastic surgeons won't do any surgery on anyone under 18. Make sure that the doctor has a good rep, because of so many frauds. They cost around $3,000-$6,000 depending on what you have done. Don't be afraid, from what i've heard, you normally heal pretty fast, and although you look really bad at first, you should be able to go back to school in 2 weeks or so. What jobs can a 14-15 year old get in Richmond VA?
OK, in order to get a job while under 16 you will need a work permit. (I assume that you know that.) The problem that you are looking at is that you don't want "human interaction." The issue there is that most unskilled labor involved human interaction. On that note, several fast food restaurants offer work for those under 16. But I don't think that is something that you would appreciate. However, Kings Dominion is hiring for the new season. Most of the jobs require interaction with the public. The Rides section involves a lot of shuttling people in and out of the rides. Not much "human interaction" but the long wait time makes people surly. Food Services has a lot of human interaction, but you are there to "help" people so if they are upset then you have a lot of leeway to help them out. The Games section has a lot of "human interaction" but the benefit of working there is that you can work your way up to the Finance section. Basically, you will be a banker. Someone has to handle the money. No interaction with the public. But, they are very strict with their rules there. No pockets, no money, no nothing. Keep everything in your locker, no matter how much of an "inconvenience" it is. The drawback of Kings Dominion is that it is not close. It requires a lot of travel and if you are under 16, you can not drive yourself. Good luck!
