So, first off, I'm playing Sims 3 on ps3. I started with three sims, Sadie, Mary and Tony. Tony and Sadie I made spouses and Mary was the teenage houseguest, but I was basing it loosely off of me living with my sister and her husband. And I couldn't make them siblings. So, Tony and Sadie down the line have three kids, and then when Mary turned into a young adult, she went out and found Tyler Vasquez and stole him from his wife. I want her to marry him and move into his mansion, but I don't know how to make this possible. I need him to propose to her, and people keep telling me to make him a playable character, but I don't know how to do any of this. Please help!

How do I get my Sim to propose engagement in Sims 3?
Start up a string of Romance interactions. You'll get close when the target Sim starts thinking the active Sim is "alluring." You should get a Romance option to Propose....Go Steady. After Go Steady, there should soon be the option to get engaged, and then you get can have a private wedding or throw a wedding party. It isn't under Special...Flirty. It's under Romance. Unless there's a glitch, you should be able to get there. But I think you have to be going steady first.

ok so first if they are not living in the same house have him call her and invite her over before he invites her over make a group meal if he has high cooking skills this will be good cause the food he will be able to make will make them be full for a while. Now have her come over eat, have her eat that will fix the hunger. after she eats click on her and choose from the play option and play with her (tickle, is a quick one under the play option) something fun to make her fun level go up. Then kiss her then make sure she doesn't have to use the bathroom. If she is living in the house this will be easier cause you can control her to use the bathroom before you have him ask. Then click purpose. If the "move in option is there it might be easier to do that first so you can control her to do the things i have already said. but anyway purpose and she should say yes . and make sure you have enough room in the house. there can't be more than 8 controlable sims in one house

do you mean the sims 2? cause the sims 1 is easy to propose to someone else. you just have to talk, kiss or something else. BTW if the sims 2 you have to make them 'together' until you think its the correct time to propose.
