How do you get babysitting jobs?
I am fourteen years old & want to know the best way to get a babysitting job. I have tons of experience & I adore kids but I just don't know how to get clients. My school has a directory with all the little kids names, numbers & addresses, so would it be creepy (for the parent) if I mailed them my flyer? What are some other ways? I don't want to put my flyer up anywhere where creepy people can get it. Also, does anyone know of places on the internet I could search for jobs? I looked at Care.com and places like that but they want someone who is at least 17 or older. So my main three questions are: Would it be creepy (for the parent) to send my flyer to them when I barely know them? Where are some places I can put my flyer up so no creepers can get it? & What are some online places I can get jobs where I don't have to be older. (I am also willing to pay the site) Thanks, and if anyone could give some babysitting tips; that would be greatly appreciated

In your neighborhood.With families who Know you and/or know your parents well.You are 14 and Your parents are Not going to want you going to people’s houses across town that they do not know at all.. Period.There are “strange people” out there. Babysitting job for a 15 year old?
I'm 14 soon to be15 and there are not many jobs to select from. I love kids and think babysitting is my best bet. i need to know how to get a job babysitting at 15! i don't want to put out fliers due to the fact my email or number will have to be on it. any ideas on ways to find mothers willing to let me babysit at 15? I live In Jersey City, I am a freshman in highschool.. I know how to travel from jersey to new york. I do it everyday.. Can anyone help? I have done absolutely EVERYTHING to try and get a few babysitting jobs until I can start working in my dad's hospital, which won't be until May. Is there any advice you could give me? I would really love it if you could give me websites that will help me find a job... most of the sites i've tried are for ages 18+ (Sittercity.com, Care.com) I'm mature, responsible, and trustworthy! What am I doing wrong? I live near Charlotte, NC which is a pretty big city, so there have got to be plenty of parents who need a babysitter :) PLease help! I appreciate it!

I signed up for Care.com, but it's all kind of confusing. Posting a job? Is that for me to do, or a family who is wanting a babysitter? How do I go about getting myself out there?
How do I file taxes on my babysitting job?
I earned about $2100 last year babysitting for friends. I did not receive a W-2 from them. My tax software (TaxCut from HR Block) doesn't give me an option to add this wage without having a W-2. The only other option is to choose myself as a Household Employee but I have to make less than $1500 for that, and I made $2100. So... the questions are ... Does my friend have to give me a W-2? If so, how would he go about doing that if he doesn't have a EIN? Can he use his SSN as his EIN? If so, where does he have to go then to get official W-2 Forms to issue me?
