I'm really not that upset that she admitted to what she said, but she's painting herself as the victim. She won't admit that what she said (especially about the plantation-style wedding with black servers dressed as slaves -- WTF is that?!) was f*cked up. When she was being interviewed about it on the Today Show she constantly dodged the questions she was being asked and kept going back to talking about how abused she felt. She won't answer anything up front when she could do that, and this whole issue could have passed by now. EDIT: I agree that people should stop being butthurt over slavery, but the fact that she seemed to take it as a joke pissed me off. The 'plantation party' thing just shows that she doesn't think it was serious. Even though no blacks alive today were slaves or were even alive when slavery was around, asking them to dress as slaves is just degrading.
