How To Get Better Concentration

How can I get full concentration?

Depends On What you want your concentration to be? Let's assume it's studies, then there can be so many causes but I am gonna tell some usual ways that always works out, so here you go:There may be many distractions in your room in which you study like computer, decorative items, too many lights in one room etc move these to other room it might help.Leave activities that doesn't contribute to your progress like surfing on facebook, intagram etc as these doesn't contribute anything, just wastes your time and would always be there to distract you and you wouldn't be able to develop your concentration. In order to gain full concentration while studying you must first atleast gain some concentration and for that you are required to have interest in that particular topic. When you gain concentration, you may get distracted but you don't need to worry. Your body needs some breaks between studying, let it take a break and then come back study with concentration(less or full ;)) and with more DEDICATION.When you would follow the same routine of studying with whatever the confidence you have, you would eventually develop a habbit of studying that particular subject and might also develop interest but one thing is sure that your concentration would increase. Some more tips might be there.

Do cannabis make ADHD better or increase concentration?

The short answer is "yes," if you use the right kind.UPDATED PER REQUEST: I use very little .. maybe a hit every 3 or 4 hours .. but you'll notice the difference. Once you notice the difference, it's enough.I will advise, though, that if all that's available is "street" variety, it doesn't work as well. I get mine from growers and dispensaries, so I know the percentages of THC and CBDs and stuff.I get low THC and high CBD and prefer Indica to remain awake and sativa for sleep (which is opposite than many people)*******************My first experiences which I share with everyone was going from a D/F student in high school to an A student in college, and the only difference was starting to use marijuana in college (in the 70's).Fast forward to 2012, when for the first time, I considered using it again for a number of medical issues. After seeing a number of specialists, including someone who did some neuropsych testing to determine my IQ and any issues I might be experiencing, she diagnosed with me ADHD.When I shared my college experience with her, she told me it was very possible that it was the reason I did so well in college. I was using medically for 4 years (which is different stuff than you buy on the street) and can tell you that I had dramatically improved.I've been away for 6 months because what I used is not legal where I now live, and I can clearly tell the difference. I went from not being able to sit still during a 1/2 hour TV program, to being able to work on a jigsaw puzzle for 8 hours straight, and get it done.I have no negative comments to say based on my 4 years of medical usage; and if it helps, I have no problem with it being used in school. That does NOT mean I advocate recreational underage usage; each person is an individual.I just know that I am living proof that it CAN work ... and it did.

How do I improve concentration during exams in order to get better grades?

I hate it when I can sing only a line of a song and that just doesn’t leave my mind. It plays in a never ending loop. It is so frustrating, more so in an examination hall. I suggest.Drink water. Always carry a bottle (preferably 1 Litre) to the exam hall. Sip water whenever you feel you are stuck or not concentrating. I do not know the chemistry or biology behind this but this seems to work.Focus on the question. By focus, I mean literally force a stare at the question or answer depending on the situation. This will make the visual part of your brain functionally more active.Get the jitters out. Shrug a little, close your eyes for a few seconds, change your posture, change the orientation of the answer sheet. Reset your whole body.As to avoiding silly mistakes, I advise you to read the question twice if it is unclear. Take a second to identify the what’s and why’s of the question. Take another second to evaluate the procedure in mind. Put that on paper.I have suggested more hacks than actual principles. But they work for me. Give it a shot.Hope this helps and all the best!

Will xanax effect my concentration?

Hey,

First of all, the half-life for Xanax is 3-5 hours depending on your metabolism, height, weight, etc.
I used to take Xanax for anxiety and let me tell ya. It almost ruined my life. That good feeling that you described, I liked too and started to self medicate and abuse them. Before I knew it I needed to take them or I was violently ill.
Anyway's, It does affect your concentration, big time. I went to college and flunked out in a month because I couldnt keep up, I thought I was dumb. That was not the case, in fact people tell me now how messed up I seemed all the time and I didnt even feel like I was any different. Any of the benzodiazepines (valium, clonazepam, xanax, anything that ends in "Pam") Does the same thing but is metabolized differently.
The best way to deal with anxiety is to hit it head on, drug free and learn to deal with it yourself. If not, I guarrentee.......guarrentee you will become depended on them and/or addicted.
The longer you take them, the worse your coping skills get as well because you rely on the med. There are better ways to deal with panic and anxiety. I searched the globe for the right pill for 3 years.......Benzodiazepines work great at first, but after a while it has the reverse affect and you have to take them to get rid of the wihdrawels(anxiety, nausea, panic, diarhea) from not taking them.
I hope this makes sense to you, if not, I can try again.
Remember, your mind will fool with you and make you think you dont have a problem. "I only take it once a week." or "I only take it when I need it." which happens to end up being everytime you go to the grocery store or the mall or family functions, parties, work etc.
Be careful and do your research before taking meds.

Take care

How do you adjust the concentration of sanitizer at Taco Bell Restaurant?

My manager doesn't explain it very well and her English is not that good. Perhaps someone who has worked at Taco Bell can explain it to me better. I need to get just the right concentration so the test strip would bet at 200 ppm.

My mind is always wavering. How can I get concentration?

Dear,Mind doesn't waiver. It goes to the direction it is programmed to go to. Before we proceed to find out about concentration, I would, to help, introduce a term Attention.Attention is a quality of the mind. Attention is the deep desire of the mind to understand. Understanding means settling down, becoming quiet.Attention arises when the mind says that the ripples created by objects in mind must settle down. These objects could be:1. a TV program2. two people and their chatter3. the disquiet of the mind itselfHowever, remember that there is a difference between attention and concentration. In attention, there is no specific object. Attention is the quality of the mind in which it is alert to everything, including itself. Hence, whatever is in its purview its its object. Alternately, there is no (specific) object. Alternately, the mind itself is its own object. In concentration, there is a process of ego-based choice involved. Concentration is fragmentary. Concentration is upon a specific object that the ego has chosen for its benefit. Concentration does not give understanding, it only gives pleasure and satisfaction.I have elaborated on this theme in my blog - 'Words into Silence'I would advise you to further read from the blog on focus, concentration, attention and understanding. I am sure it would be of help.Do let me know.AA

Alcohol improves concentration?

The reason for this is that even in small amounts alcohol tends to dull you down a bit and with duller senses you are less likely to be distracted by your surroundings so you can focus better on the task at hand.

After more than one or two drinks it works the other way as your brain functions become impaired and do not function as well as normal or after one or two drinks.

Most people do not function better after one or two drinks but some people do because they are more relaxed and this helps them to focus better.
