How To Get Carpets And Rugs Cleaning Solutions Who Really

Has anyone used Rug Doctor carpet cleaning solution in a Hoover steam cleaner?

Hoover's printed material that came with the machine says that only Hoover products should be used because of potential electrical hazards. Hoover cleaning solutions are very expensive and I suspect that they may want to sell cleaning solution without any competition. Anyone have an answer?

Why does my carpet smell after cleaning it?

The appearance of an unpleasant musty smell of dampness from the carpet is directly related to the effect of water on carpets or the constant use of carpets in wet rooms that are rarely ventilated. Variations are also possible when the carpet stinks after washing and improper subsequent drying. The source of an unpleasant pungent smell is bacteria and fungus, which are planted in the carpet. In cleaning services recommend: The most susceptible to the appearance of the fungus are carpets made of natural materials that have not been treated with special antiseptic agents during manufacture. How to prevent the appearance of a smell of dampness and caresses from carpets:After damp carpet cleaning and washing, carpets must be completely dried (and pile and the basis of the carpet). If you washed the carpet yourself, or at a dry cleaner, or even in a car wash and did not dry it completely, then it is very likely that in the coming days there will be an unpleasant smell (or even a strong smell), which will not be easy to cope with on your own. More details about the drying of carpets read here.If the carpet is used in rooms with high humidity, it must be periodically dried and monitored for the condition of the pile and the basis of the carpet (so that it is not wet, mold does not appear), and the room itself is often ventilated and use special air dehumidifiers. Some cleaning company offers special treatment services for carpets from fungus and bacteria that you can use.If you do not use the carpet, then before you twist it and put it away for storage, be sure to clean it and dry it completely.Carry out carpets in winter and summer in good weather outside. This is one of the "grandfather" methods that help to refresh carpets and prevent the breeding of bacteria in them. In the summer, carpet in sunny weather is taken out to the street and put in the sun (if the carpet is wet, it can lose shape), and in winter, in frosty weather, snow is cleaned.

Do the large-area foaming carpet-cleaner sprays really work?

I've used the Resolve high-traffic foam. At first I was happy with it, but a few weeks later, I notice that the stains are still there, just fainter and larger, actually. *Sigh*

I used it to clean cat stains from my carpet. It seemed to do the trick OK at first, but it didn't completely clean the stain. A few weeks/months later, I noticed traces of the stains remain and seem to have been spread out. It's as though the product didn't actually CLEAN the stain, but rather diluted it. Disappointing.

I stumbled across this question while I was looking for another answer I saw a couple weeks ago that recommended some mixture of Febreeze Microbial and original Listerine. I think the mixture was recommended to get urine stains out of memory foam, but I got to think the other day that it might also work for getting pet stains out of carpeting.

Good luck in your quest for answers.

What is a good homemade carpet cleaner solution?

I am looking for a good homemade carpet cleaning solution. One that I could use in a home cleaning machine. I have a house that had pets in and would like to get the pet smell out of the house. I think that the first thing I should try is clean the carpet. If there is any other suggestion that anyone could give it would be helpful. I have try the solutions in the store for pet oder but the smell is still there. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Best carpet cleaning cleaners.?

I've had my own carpet cleaner for years, and I like to go to the janitorial aisle of a big box hardware store and buy the off-brand gallon-size carpet cleaner. It's cheaper than the name brands (which are close to $20 now) and better.

To get the deep stains, the trick is to pre-soak them with a mixture of the carpet cleaner and Oxi-Clean (assuming your carpet is not wool, in which case you cannot use Oxi-Clean). Let the cleaning solution sit there for a while, then go over it with the carpet cleaner.

Finally, for those stained and extra dirty areas, there's value in finishing the process by placing old towels and the carpet and standing on them to soak up any remaining moisture (dirty water).

Best of luck.

I am steam cleaning my carpet, would "Head and Shoulders" or "Herbal Essence" be better for the carpet?

Are you as pathetic as you sound? Grow up.
