How to get manure smell out of clothes?
My dad used to work on a farm, and one day he got all full of manure. Well, my mom recently decided to wash all those clothes and forgot to finish washing them and left them in the washer, and today I needed to do laundry, and not noticing ( I don't know how I didn't notice) I put some of my clothes in there to wash. While it started washing I noticed a horrible smell coming from the laundry so I asked my mom why, and she said she left his dirty clothes in there. I tried getting my clothes out but it smelled so bad already, how do I get the smell out?
How to get the smell of cow manure out of a car?
My son works on a farm and I am driving his car to save $ on gas. The problem is that it is a Camry with leather seats. I washed the floor mats with laundry detergent, used Murphy's oil soap on the seats, used air neutralizer, car air freshners.. Any more ideas I can try???

Been There Done That--I got it out by washing them by themselves and using HOT water with Tide with bleach for colors powder detergent and oxyclean on the really bad spots. Heck --I was more worried abou the smell. But its pretty sad that now my hubby is a truck driver instead I actually MISS that smell!!

I accidentally wore my ma's sweater in the barn. I tried detergent with white vinegar and still the cow poo smell. Any other ideas? I think my ma used to use ammonia with the wash, but i'm not sure how much. thanks.

You could try keeping your bedroom window open to air the room out but that won't stop it, just air it out a little so it won't be so strong. There are smells everywhere in life, that is just one of them. Outside you smell things like exhaust, manure and many other foul smells and they call that fresh air. If anyone comments on you smelling like smoke, then just smile and say something cute. Don't let it bother you, there is nothing you can do about it. Even in a totally smoke free environment there are smells and odors it's part of life on this planet.
