Can the sender of an email see if it's been read?
In general, no. There were extensions added to the mail standards for return receipts, but everyone turns them off for privacy reasons. If you add a web bug (a unique image on an external website) to HTML mail, you can tell if someone viewed that, but some people like me still use text-based email, or again mail clients may block images and external links for privacy.
Why did my email stretch?
Yahoo! Mail allows you to specify the message width for both sending and viewing messages. To do this: Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account. Click the "Mail Options" link located near the upper-right side of the Mail Welcome page. Click the "General Preferences" link in the middle column. Scroll down to the Screen Width heading. Please note: If you compose messages using the Color and Graphics version, the window will not appear to be any wider but the text will wrap according to your specifications. If you need to scroll horizontally to compose or read messages, you should reduce the appropriate width(s). Note that if you reduce the width for viewing messages, text may appear uneven since we do not remove any line breaks. If text appears uneven on a regular basis, you may want to consider viewing your messages in a smaller font as an alternative to reducing the message width(s). If your message composition area or the messages you read are not wide enough to fit your window, you should increase the width settings. This will not necessarily increase the width of messages you read since we do not remove any line breaks which may have been inserted on the sender's end.
Can emails be tapped so that other ppl can read them?
Yes, someone with access to either computer can install a keystroke program that will let them view all messages from a remote location...beware, nothing on the internet or your own computer is completely private...type accordingly...
If I delete an email I sent to someone, can he/she still read it?
A very few public email systems allow for a delay after you hit ‘send’, before it’s actually sent. GMail allows this, if you have configured your account for it. I think you have 30 seconds to change your mind.Some private (business) email systems allow for “recall” of a message, which will usually prevent the recipient from reading it if they had not yet read it when you issued the recall… but I have found this to be very unreliable, at least in Microsoft Outlook.In almost every case, when you “delete” an email, you are only deleting your copy. Train yourself to proofread and consciously approve the email before you hit the send key.
Can a principal read a teacher's email?
Of course they can. That's not to say that the administrators sit around all day reading people's emails - usually there is some sort of program or filter in place that looks for certain "target" words, and the admins are alerted when something suspicious, etc. comes up. (This system will vary from school to school, of course.) At my school, the admins can read every email I send from my school account and they log every website I access. If I ever need to send anything personal, etc. that I don't want them to see, I use my gmail account because they can't read those emails (they can just see that I accessed gmail, not what I wrote). Privacy isn't really the issue here, it's security and protection for the school, students, parents, and even the teachers.

Now click the font button (F, second in the toolbar) and u get the list of available fonts, select the one you desire. 3. you can also change the text size using the same toolbar. move you mouse over each button to know what it does. well this is i how you change the font while composing an email. If you are asking about changing the fonts of entire yahoo email view try clicking on TOOLS at the top of your screen and then CONTENT. Depending what Yahoo you are in...IE:Firefox..you might have to click on Tools..Internet Options and then CONTENT...You can do many things with the FONT. You will have to experiment. Click on OK when done..
