You could use VueMinder Pro on your PC. It syncs 2-way with Google Calendar. If you also sync your iPhone with the same Google Calendar that you're syncing with VueMinder, you'll see all the appointments you enter on your PC automatically appear on your iPhone (and vice versa). This is what I use because I don't like having to open a web browser to enter my appointments, and typing via touch screen on the iPhone is tedious for any real work. At long last, it appears that Google has fixed this problem, and now when you search you will get matches since the beginning of time. Let us say that it is December 11, 2014. You go to your calendar, and the mini-calendar (upper left) is showing the small grid for December 2014.2. Enter your search criteria. [Note: you can also try the more detailed "search options," but in my experience, the start/end dates will be ignored. Still, you can constrain your search to a specific calendar.]3. Click the magnifying glass to start the search4. You will see incomplete results.5. Change the month displayed in the mini-calendar (upper left) to January 2014. Now click the "1" for January 1. Why does my iPhone's Notes and Calendar sync with my sister's iPhone?
I believe it has to do with cloud storage when you have it on the same itunes account it syncs all of the songs, pictures and notes to the devices.
Is google calendars secure?
Google Calendar is linked to your gmail, as long as you have a decent password on the gmail account and have a good secret question so the password can't be reset it's as secure as any other online calendar. I mean, its not secure because any keylogger will pick up what you type into it should you not know how to keep your computer secure. I can't remember ever seeing anyone getting kidnapped through online calendar hacking though... sounds a bit overly paranoid to me :)
