Do you have to walk a dog in the rain?
The dog will still have to "go", so yes. If you mean additionally a long walk for exercise, then no. You can find some activity in your home to exercise the dog, rolling a ball down a hallway for her to chase, etc.

Forgot to walk the dog?
im supposed to be taking care of my neighbor's dog, but today i was held up because i had to do a dance show (i know. its no excuse. i hate myself.) but...i couldn't walk her, and now im kind of worried? i know the purpose of walking the dog is to give her exercize and let her poop...the thing is, is it okay if i miss one day?? or should i rush over and do it right now?? its already late, and the neighbor's relative is at their home. he probably didn't walk her...but i dont want to wake him up because he's just visiting and he's still tired from his flight in.

Dogs require mental and physical stimulation to truely be happy and when they are frusterated they do things and develop bad habbits such as destroying the house and if you have not trained the dog likely the dog pulls you everywhere. You need to take responsibility and become the dogs Pack leader! Show him Rules boundries and use plenty of praise and affection when he does right and listens to those rules and boundries! Dogs are pack animals and If your dog fights with other dogs the dog needs to be socialized and have a muzzle on until it realizes not all dogs are mean, most dogs just love to play. Dogs are a life time commitment not a just for puppyhood! most people get a puppy because its cute then they loose interest and we dont need anymore dogs in shelters!
Can you walk a dog on a treadmill?
A friend of mine has a dog that has just needed 3 month complete rest for a shoulder injury she has been referred to a vet hospital where the dog will be using a tread mill so that they can monitor the exercise and the affects on the dog, other than for that purpose I think its just lazy not to take your dogs out.
