How To Get Over Fear Of Zombies Etc

How can I get rid of my fear of zombies?

I have the same fear............
That the dead will awake one day, and I Will die in the process.
I had a dream that * Ravens Omens of death * would send us a message , and it will be the very last ....

The best way to tell yourself to let go of the nightmare , is it is not possible , the decayed do not walk among. This may occur .. but you won't be alive to see...... There may be a deadly disease that spreads and it wipes out , the countries .. but I am sure they are fully capable of making a cure... Technology just gets more advanced , and by then who knows we will probably be in space....

Don't watch any zombie movies or , play Call of duty Nazi zombies , or watch Tv series . It's all in your mind ... to hope you get rid of them only brings disappointment its a matter of telling yourself they aren't real.....................

I know so because I would Have crazy dreams every night, and wake my boyfriend up and freak him out......Don't dwell on it

There is nothing wrong with you , its a common fear ...... We all fear things .... but very different things .... I understand the disease part scares you, but you must get a hold of yourself because you will be just fine. You don't want to waste your life on believing in something so ridiculous , living in fear is not living life to the fullest . Just like those foolish people , who believe the worlds coming to an end in 2012. Remember just because they said so doesn't mean a thing.. they said this in 2001 when i was 6 years old .. its all lies ..

I'm scared of zombies. Help?

When I get scared at night.I sleep with the lights on,turn on the T.V put it on mute, turn it down low, OR sleep with the door open.Maybe, you should stop watching The Walking Dead for a little while. If it's that's scary to you.

I give you some things you can do IF there happen to be a zombie Apocalypse or a any kind huge emergency where you have to survive: Since you can't get a real gun.Buy a airsoft and when something big happen spray paint it black. So, if you see someone with a survival bag or something you want. You can tick them into getting their stuff because your air soft gun looks real xD.Also you can buy a bat and a backpack to put little survival things in there like bandages, clothes, and etc.IF your worried about food you can always ask your parent to buy can fruits.Besides, you can wait until things die down in a zombie Apocalypse or whatever and raid peoples houses or something.

I have an irrational fear of zombies. I am buying a new house, what should the minimum height of the concrete wall around the back yard be, realistically?

Perimeter walls are a crutch and a waste of money if you haven't already installed the collapsible window and door fortifications. This is the Safe House by Polish architect Robert Konieczny of KWK Promes. It's a fortress. There really isn't another word for it. The Safe House is a giant concrete cube whose walls were designed to move, collapse and secure in the event of, well... it doesn't really matter what, you're going to be fine.Yeah, and it isn't the old musty sort of fortress we all knew growing up. Yeah sure it has all fundamentals of a quality castle, collapsible drawbridge, courtyard (which doubles as a detainment and quarantine area) and your walls by the way, but it also comes with a lovely patio, steel kitchen appliances and even an indoor pool. Also, as a bonus its massive concrete walls make it incredibly energy efficient, so that after the horde dies off, the environment doesn't as well.Honestly we should have seen this coming from Poland. I guess it really takes someone raised in a place with a history of being literally the first place where the world goes to hell in a handbasket time after time after time to be where someone would invent the first truly zombie horde proof home. And yes... it's real:And if that isn't really enough evidence, a wall won't help you no matter how high it is. According to Max Brooks, author of the Zombie Survival Guide, says that if zombies really set their minds to something, err... minds... either way, if they really set their minds to overcoming an obstacle they'll just climb over one another in some sloppy random fashion of a pile until your barbecue is burned.Don't you let anyone make fun of you Anon. Irrational fears are only irrational until they aren't and then who's laughing? You're doing the right thing in being prepared. After all, a man's home is his castle and if your castle doesn't have a collapsible drawbridge, then you don't love your family. Thanks for reading! For more answers like this check out Inspired Lunacy and follow my blog The War Elephant for more new content. How to overcome fear of zombie apocalypse!!!?

I first learned about a zombie apocalypse about a year from reading a page on cracked.com called "5 scientific reasons a zombie apocalypse cold actually happen. That page stated that toxoplasma gondii could evolve into a zombie virus. Not long after that, I read on scrapetv.com that president obama and the government were actually preparing for a zombie apocalypse. The aformentioned articles are the main ones that attempt to prove their point; the other ones I've found just state " a zombie apocalypse will happen." The fear then went away after I posted a question about this same issue on here with my old account, which I forgot the password to. Now, a year later, its back, though not as bad. Please prove to me that zombies cannot exist and that they cannot cause the world to end. Thanks in advance:)

Would we be afraid of monsters, zombies, vampires etc., if we had never seen pictures and movies of them?

In all likelihood, we would.Imagination is a beautiful, but terrifying thing. Often times it is the unknown we are most afraid of (as is proven by the absurd things people came up with to ward off unknown and unseen evil). If we didn’t have all of those pictures and movies then we could just let our imagination run wild and who knows what horrific images we would come up with?Stories of monsters and the supernatural predate photography. People were terrified of them - your ancestors coming back in the night to kill you? Brr… Can you imagine the rotting corpse looming over you in your sleep?I bet you can.I bet they could too.I would be terrified. Also: As a child, I was completely, abnormally terrified of ghosts. I’d never seen movies with ghosts in them or photographs of ghosts, but I always imagined people covered in blood looking really, really dead (decomposing people, that is) popping up out of nowhere to hurt me.So, my answer is yes: without movies or photography we would probably (still?) be afraid of them. However - if we’d never heard of or read about it, then we probably would not be scared. Unless you have a very active imagination, that is. If something’s not on your mind, it won’t make you scared.
