How To Get Rid Of Social Awkwardness

How can i get rid of my awkward awkwardness?

I have the same problem. Whenever I have a thought in my head i say it. Because when I think about it I can talk myself out of saying anything. And then I am pretty much silent. Just say what you feel when it happens. Live in the moment enjoy life. If you are naturally shy then just accept it. Better to accept and move on then spend your whole life hating it. I like being shy. It makes people curious and I never come off boastful only shy. So just be who you are and accept that.

How to stop being socially awkward?

I am sooo shy. Especially at school. And I always find that eye contact is so awkward. Like yesterday I was deeply listening to my science teacher teaching since I had to catch up on topic since I was absent for 3 days. He must have found it awkward and he quickly looked away.

Even in the lunchroom when I'm heading to a table I get really nervous and start feeling awkward since I feel like everyone's staring at me.

How can I stop feeling so shy/awkward all the time?
I'm starting to hate myself.

Do animals feel awkwardness?

All sorts of animals will have different ways of displaying how they situations make them feel but, yes - animals can feel awkward but perhaps, not as we do.
Things that you wouldn't normally make you feel awkward may well make them feel uncomfortable.
Some animals, like horses - do not like eye contact because, in their natural habitat, a predator would stare at them. So if they are stared at...they will react on fight or flight because they feel threatened.
However they also like to be able to SEE your eyes so that they can see if you are looking at them or not because in the wild, if they couldn't see an animal's eye then they'd take no chances as it could be an approaching predator. I'm not actually a fan of horses but I know this as my mum talks about horses a lot.
Some dogs possess personality disorders and feel uncomfortable holding another person's gaze.
Also, in their natural habitat eye contact may perhaps be seen as a challenge ( say if a canine wanted to become alpha ) or it may be that by looking your dog in the eye that you are reminding him of how you are in charge. That very fact being pressed across may make your dog feel uncomfortable.
As for your cat gulping... You've got to be careful with how you look at animals - a wag of the tail in a cat can mean something completely different in the wag of a tail of a dog.
So...animals are nothing like us and it is best to try and avoid relating their behaviour to that of a human's so that it makes sense to you.
It may be that your cat is simply swallowing.
Simba, love the name by the way! May decide that you are interesting for whatever reason...and then eventually lose interest and look away from you.
Often if you are nervous then it will make your pets nervous and jumpy.
However if your pet is nervous and the thing that is upsetting your pet is not upsetting you....it may then decide that it's fear is irrational and it doesn't need to worry about things if you aren't.
You may find more answers if you look up certain animal's natural habitats etc.
For example if you were curious about cats, perhaps look up on the big cat family to see how they'd normally act.
The same with dogs however look up on wolves and perhaps this will open more answers to you :]
