Fiirst off, know that people get love handles from wearing hip-hugger pants. The pants are literally too tight around the hips to allow body fat to form there, so the fat is pushed up.

For a few weeks, try wearing pants that hug your waist instead of your hips. Don't roll down Soffe shorts, keep them about 2 1/2 inches below your belly button. If you can take it, try wearing breifs instead of hipsters or bikini underwear. The handles should go down in about two weeks if you keep with the program.

Eat healthier, like more fruits and veggies, less fried foods and less food with bad carbs ( white bread, ect ) .

And exercise daily with cardio exercises / aerobics. Jogging, running, even walking, or using a machine of some sort like a bike or a stair stepper.

Both of those combined should be enough to slim down / eliminate those love handles. But love handles are stubborn, and the abdomen is the hardest place to lose fat.

Grasp on that negative hate and use it to fuel you to change. Although I say grasp on to it, don’t hold on to it tightly and carry it with you. If you carry it too long it will only pull you down.Make it enjoyable. Make it about bettering yourself. Make it about you not them.Now, love handles is fat. Losing fat is losing fat, the same way you lose fat on you legs you lose them on your arms and your abs.Losing fat is the same no matter where it is.While you can target it to build muscle and “somewhat tone it”. Its about an energy deficit. You’ll have to lose the fat, unfortunately fat falls off randomly, usually at the most wanted parts last.You’ll have to eat less food than you burn daily, a calorie deficit.Besides normal ab workouts, just long ab (planks/leg raise/ab roller etc.), I don’t do much more. Maybe side obliques very very very very very…. very rarely. Which is basically once in every 6 months I decide to.Just exercise, lift weights, run, walk, do some ab workouts. Less is more, less volume per day, more frequency. I explain this in my article.Do exercise you enjoy.Most importantly eat well and eat right. I prefer a 20% deficit from my maintenance.Probably maybe even more importantly, it’s a process, it takes. Be patient. It’s about consistency.Most people fail to lose the weight not because of their diet or workout, but because of themselves.
