How To Get Senders Out Of Unsubscriber Folder.

Unsubscribe folder on yahoo mail?

There was a write up--(last week on Yahoo homepage)--about the way to use the newly appointed "Unsubscribe" folder.

First and foremost----don't open the email to move it---just "drag and drop" it to the "Unsubscribe" folder. Once there, Yahoo will go about the process of unsubscribing it. (and eventually delete it I suppose?).
Whether or not they will be successful, is yet to be proven, but their chances would be better than yours at getting it done.

It "might" not be instantanous----but if any more arrive (from that address)----it would go to the Unsubscribe folder, instead of your inbox---where Yahoo (I assume) would keep working to unsubscribe it for you.
At least that's what Yahoo says.

I don't know that it can be turned off.

Accidently put e-mail in Unsubscribe folder. Now that sender goes to Unsubscribe. want to come to inbox?

Unsubscriber is a third-party app for your mail accounts. According to their support site,

"When you add an email to the Unsubscribe folder, you receive a confirmation email. Within that email, you’ll find a link which you can click to tell us that it was a mistake. Just click that link and we’ll make sure you continue to receive emails from that sender.

In some cases, we may have already contacted the sender and successfully had you removed their list. In those instances, you will also need to resubscribe on the sender’s site.

If you can’t locate your confirmation email, just drop us a note with the details and we’ll be happy to take care of it for you."

If you want to remove the "Unsubscriber" application:

Click the gear icon next to the word "Applications" in the lower left hand corner of Yahoo! Mail.

Find "Unsubscriber" in the list of applications, and click Remove. (Note: You may have to scroll down to the bottom of the list and click Next.)

Click Ok.

If the "Unsubscribe" folder is still listed, delete all messages in it, click on the folder, and press Delete on your keyboard.

If you need further assistance with Unsubsriber, please refer to the support site for their developer, Other Inbox linked below.

How do I delete Unsubscriber?

From Unsubscriber/ Yahoo support:

Disconnecting Unsubscriber from your Yahoo! Mail account

We hope everyone who tries Unsubscriber loves using it, but we understand it may not be for you.

To disconnect, click the Unsubscriber app in Yahoo! Mail. There, you will find a link to disconnect your Unsubscribe folder.

It’s important to note that deleting the Unsubscribe folder does not disconnect Unsubscriber from your Yahoo! Mail account. If Unsubscriber sees a message in your Inbox from a Sender you previously wanted to unsubscribe from, it will re-create the Unsubscribe folder to move the message there.

I don't use the software, but is seems like there is no program on your machine to uninstall. It appears to work by re-configuring your email.
