Can't hear the game through my headset (xbox)?
actual game play sound does NOT play through the XBOX headsets, you need to have 3rd party headsets like turtle beach, triton, or whatever, the reason for this is because the 3rd party one connect to the audio outputs of you console, and transmit the sound through a BASE STATION, or the wires. the XBOX headsets were made to chat! not listen to the game!

How come the Xbox One doesn’t support USB headsets in 2018?
I think its more of a peripherals issue. If anything its a money thing. Now a days Xbox One controllers can except proprietary (specially made for the xbox but not better) headphones and 3mm jack headphones (before they only took the specialized kind). As manufacturers seek to lose some control to gain another control (money) then they will consider doing things that are obvious. One day console may be compatible with mouse and keyboard (both wired and Bluetooth) same with headsets. It would be awesome to use wireless headsets for my xbox but technically you can't. So same with your usb headsets. One day maybe? It makes sense to me but then again usb is kinda going to go extinct (per the large port, in a matter of years)

How to make it so my friends can hear me in my party chat Xbox one?
I connected my xbox one to my monitor via HDMI and then bought an audio adapter because the monitor doesn't display sound. I can hear just fine through my turtle beach recon 50p headset. When i'm in a party with my friends I can hear them just fine but the problem is they can't hear me. How do I fix this.

My son experienced this very same problem a few days ago. He automatically blamed his headset and I (kindly) ordered him a new one. He then had to come and tell me that, ahem, it appeared that the problem was not with the headset at all but actually with the controller.After (VERY kindly) buying him a new controller, the problem is solved. He assumes it was a problem with the jack port on the controller that was causing the issue.I suggest borrowing a controller from a friend and trying it with your existing headset. If the problem disappears then it’s the controller, if not, it’s probably the headset.Hope this helps.
How can I get sound from xbox when a monitor is connected?
Hey guys! I've finally managed to hook up my xbox 360 to my LED monitor. 24 inch, Samsung SyncMaster SA350 is my monitor. Unfortunately the monitor does not have built in speakers or such, so when I play on my computer ill have to plug in either headset or speakers. But thats not the thing. So i use a hdmi cable to connect my xbox 360 to my samsung monitor. But how the hell am i supposed to get sound out of this? there is no way for me to plug in the headset to the monitor or the xbox 360, so i can only play xbox 360 on my monitor without SOUND. Can anyone give me some information on the particular device/whatever i will have to buy in order to have sound on my xbox360/pcmonitor setup? Thanks in advance :)!
