What should my goal weight be?

I am an 18 year old female, and I ve always had a naturally dense and muscular build. For the past few months I ve been on a low carb diet. I am 5 5.5, started at 200 pounds, and am now 175. When I was 200 I didn t feel comfortable with my weight, but I wasn t necessarily obese either. My waist used to be around 36 inches, I ve always had a 38D size chest, and I used to wear an XL or XXL and a size 16 in dresses and pants. Now that I m 175, my waist is 32 inches, still have the same size chest, and I now wear a M or L in shirts, and a 10/12 in pants. According to a BMI calculator, someone who s about 5 5 should weigh no more than 150 pounds, but I feel pretty good about where I am. I have been told that BMI isn t always accurate for someone with a muscular build. Is there any health professional on here who can tell me what my goal weight should be?

Because you are petite, you do no require many calories to maintain your weight. If you don't exercise, that makes this even harder to do quick. Thus, I recommend patience, and persistence.An estimate is you would only need about 1,800 calories to maintain your current weight. Realistically, you could only cut about 300 to 400 calories from your diet. Any more than that will cause malnutrition. This can be done with the elimination of a few cookies, a candy bar, or some sweet drinks from your dietThe good news, you can exercise off as many calories as you want. If you can exercise off 200 calories in the beginning, and give up 300 calories in treats, you would lose about 1 pound per week. Sorry, but only through more exercise do I recommend trying to lose more than 1 pound per week. Good luck.

I have lost 12 pounds and hit my “goal weight.” How do I make myself eat more calories in order to maintain this weight? I’m having trouble eating more than 1000-1100 per day and I need to be eating about 1800.

I just want to put this out there but I am no professional dietician. However, I have learned the ropes to bulking and cutting. If you maintain your goal weight, congrats! This is a hard feat but keeping it is harder. If you have to eat 1800 calories but can’t eat them all, try drinking some. Buy a protein powder and mix it. I’d suggest MuscleMilk (no I’m not sponsored by them) since it has worked really well. Maybe get small containers of different brands and switch between them. It all is up to your personal preference. You could also take other workout substance if need but I think protein powder is the best way to get the extra calories.

After herbalife how do i maintain my goal weight?

Sorry you are so determined to invest the money.
I know several people that have tried Herbalife, Isagenix, Nanci, Nutrilite, and Advocare weight loss supplements.
They all weight the same or more than when they tried them.
Alli is the only over the counter weight loss product approved by the FDA.
There are only two prescription weight loss medications approved. Do you think that if any of them REALLY worked we would have a $60 billion a year industry in "weight loss" supplements? The big three pharmaceuticals would dominate the market.
Approved or otherwise, none of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program.
So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?
You will be spending somewhere between $10 and $30 per day on products that are not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.
$300 to $900 per month would get you a premier spa membership and the positive feeling that comes from working out and feeling healthier.
All of the above mentioned diet products are "multi level marketing" or "work from home" programs. I think these products are the worst since they exploit both the desires of people to lose weight and to make money.

I lived in a very nice area of Phoenix for a time. 90% of the "make money from home" signs along the roads were Herbalife when you called and finally got them to tell you. These companies are more concerned with profits than weight loss. As are all the MLMs.

Should I wait to get a tattoo until I reach my goal weight (50 lbs weight loss)?

Yes!Now if the question is “will a tattoo I get now be misshapen if I lose 50lbs” my answer is that I don't have enough information to help.Where is the tattoo going? If it's on the hand weight loss won't change it much. If it's on the belly there's a good chance weight loss could affect the tattoo.But moreso, that sounds like a good incentive to lose weight!

How To Get Motivated To Lose Weight?

I am 5ft 2in and weigh 160lbs. My goal weight is 120lbs, I know what I need to do to reach my goal but for some reason I just can t find the motivation to actually do it. I used to swim 3 hours a day and weight lift on a regular basis but I just gained a lot of weight and it feels like I just can t shake it off. I really want to be healthy and feel good again but for some reason I m not motivated to exercise or eat clean again. What do I need to do to to get motivated or tell me how to stick to a workout routine long enough to see results?
