Fun things to do with a 2 year old girl when babysitting.?
It depends on a few things such as: What does she like to do? Is she a girly girl or does she like more rough and tumble things? Do you have to babysit her at home or can you take her places? My daughter is 2 and here are some things we do that she likes: 1. color and draw 2. art projects (get some construction paper, glue sticks, glitter, safety scissors, old magazines you can cut up, foam shapes, feathers, etc. and make collages) 3. tea parties 4. play mommy with her dolls and stuffed animals 5. get her nails painted 6. "help" me fold laundry, make beds, load the dishwasher, etc. 7. play "basketball" with a small soft ball and a laundry basket 8. dance to kids music 9. watch Bubble Guppies, Care Bears, and other kid shows 10. draw on the sidewalk outside with sidewalk chalk 11. go to the park and playground 12. read and look at books together 13. go to the library or bookstore for storytime (most libraries and or bookstores have these for toddlers and preschoolers) 14. teach her kid songs with hand motions (Wheels on the Bus, If you're Happy and You Know it, etc.) 15. bake and decorate cookies

How much should i be getting paid for babysitting for 10 hours a day?
ok, i've know this lady for awhile and just about every summer she asks me or one of my sisters to watch one of her kids. The girl that i watch is 8 years old. I start at 6 in the morning and end at 4:30. I do this every day almost all summer.The only problem i have with the lady is that she never pays me on time. Plus she just gives me whatever she thinks i should get. And that's usually $60 a week for 10 hours a day. And i makes me mad because there is this other babysitter that she used to go to that charged like $25 a day. But then she sort of took advantage of me by having me babysit for her. So now this way she decides on how much i get paid. I don't know what to do. Should i tell the her that i think she's under paying me or should i just tell her that i want her to pay me $15 a day? Help!!

u can simply cancel as long as it isnt last minute and u give them a chance to get another baby sitter otherwise stick to ur word... bc thats just wrong... and simply tell her the truth... that u find it difficult to watch her children and that u simply wouldnt like to watch them any more unless they learned how to behave better... and u can also say that you dont appreciate them not coming home on time, and that it makes u feel uncomfortable... i know truth seems the worst way to go.. but honesty is best policy and if u dont want to be lied to then u shouldnt lie to others

I'd go ahead and play it safe while babysitting and wear a tank-ini(a tank-top with boyshorts), or, even better, wearing a one-piece with a pair of shorts over them. See, even if YOUR intentions are good, so much can go wrong in an evening if you were to wear a two-piece: -Your top can come off, the kids tell their parents and you get fired, or worse(being charged with indecent exposure if they're really uptight) -One of the kids plays too rough, and pulls your top off by ACCIDENT(the reprocussions above still apply) -The mother can accuse you of trying to steal her husband(as is slightly common with cute, young babysitters) since biniknis are meant for grabbing attention You can also lose the trust of the family in question -- bikinis are sometimes mentally linked with the idea of indecency(this doesn't apply with me, but hey, society rules, right?). Plus, they're not really FUNCTIONAL for babysitting... save it for the beach and wow the guys there with your sexy 'kini :D But until then, one-pieces galore!
Would you use a male babysitter? ?
Boy that's a hard decision for me to make because I want to say there's nothing wrong with it but when I first saw the question I thought NO right away. Just from the way it makes me so uncomfortable I wouldn't hire a male babysitter.
