Could Bane defeat Hulk?

This is a question that really comes down to natural versus and artificial strength. The way Bane’s steroid works is that the venom injected into his body triggers receptors in his muscles which spark growth. The steroid makes the muscle grow as long as it remains in his system, and continuously boosts Bane’s strength, stamina, and durability. However, this comes with its limits. Bane only has so much venom, and while it incredibly boosts his abilities, it will eventually run out, in which case Bane will no longer be boosted. Also, Bane’s body can only take so much steroids. To build muscle, Bane’s body must use up Amino acids. Theoretically, if the fight went on long enough, Bane could become malnourished and literally run out of amino acids and protein in his body, inhibiting his ability to retain his strength.Hulk, on the other hand, never runs out of strength. His strength, unlike Bane’s, is derived from his anger. Anger, unlike steroids, comes from nerves and emotions which originate in one’s brain. Therefor, as Hulk becomes angrier, he becomes stronger - meaning that the longer the fight went on, the more frustrated the Hulk would become and, in turn, would become angrier. However, you may say: But Alex, the brain’s response of “anger” eventually diminishes, which would revert the Hulk back into Banner - an easy target for Bane. Under normal circumstances, I would say: Wow, you’re right. However, you fail to remember one thing: The Hulk’s healing factor. This healing factor allows the Hulk’s anger receptors to never run out, making him indefinitely angry. And, as this happens, the Hulk will eventually become the WB (World Breaker) Hulk, in which he cannot be stopped. This version of himself is created when he gets so angry that he literally leaks radiation, causing him to become powerful enough to, literally, stomp down and crack the entire East coast of the U.S.So, overall, the Hulk would DESTROY Bane.I hope you found this helpful!-Alex

How would Bane (Tom Hardy) have fared against Ben Affleck's Batman in place of Christian's Batman during their first fight in the cave?

How would Bane (Tom Hardy) have fared against Ben Affleck's Batman in place of Christian's Batman during their first fight in the cave?Ben Affleck's Batman in Batman v Superman is a vigilante with 20 years of experience. Bale's Batman, while fighting Bane, is at least five years less experienced, and his rogues gallery consists of realistic villains, whereas Affleck's Batman has villains like Killer Croc, so Affleck's Batman is definitely more experienced because of a physically more formidable rogues gallery. Affleck's Batman has encountered unrealistically strong opponents and has a brutal fighting style. Nolan's Batman (and Bane) is realistic and doesn't have the ferocious fighting that Affleck does. The fact that Bale's Batman is unprepared to fight Bane after being retired from vigilantism for eight years is to be taken into consideration as well, since Batman is more mentally strong and confident by the end of the Dark Knight Rises, he is able to beat Bane. The Batman in the DCEU appears to have a fighting style more similar to the comics and in Batman v Superman he punches to kill, not to injure. He is confident. Bane grew up in the darkness. He too punches to kill, but Affleck's Batman is about fifty years old, based on the Dark Knight Returns, but all in all, Affleck's Batman is more robust and violent, so he'd defeat Bane in a fight. He is fueled by rage and anger, and he'd punch Bane in the mouth and break the mask, probably using a gadget, if he's prepared, that is. If Bane shows up in the Batcave and Bruce isn't prepared, either version of Batman will have difficulty, but based on the Dark Knight Rises, strong will and preparation will help Batman easily beat Bane, so it's not to say that Bale's Batman would fail against Bane; he takes him down easily at the end of the movie. It's just that the odds were in favor of Bane's in their first fight: no preparation, out of retirement, etc.

Why does Bane hate Batman so much?

Bane literally spent his whole life in a prison, a place ruled by fear. He eventually became ruler of the prison, conquering the fear. He was tormented by nightmares of a demonic bat during childhood. He saw Batman as a physical embodiment of that bat. Batman, the protector of Gotham, is a symbol of fear, and Gotham a symbol of the prison. By defeating Batman and taking over the city, he would conquer this "bat/fear". It wasn't about him hating Batman. It was more of a symbolic conflict.

As for thing on his face, I read it's a gas mask to keep him alive. He didn't have that in the comics.
