How to decorate a very small bedroom?
I just moved not too long ago, and my room is very small - a huge difference from my last bedroom in the house we moved from which was rather medium-sized, but definitely not near as small as mine. Sorry I don't have the measurements (I forgot them) so I'll just explain my bedroom. It's square in shape; when you walk through the door, on the opposite wall is a huge rectangular window that takes up nearly half of that said wall. It has blinds, and that's fine because I like having blinds, I just hate how big the window is. I have a Double sized bed (I know some people call it a "full" bed instead of "double" so it looks pretty big in my tiny room. On the right of my bed is a quite large closet that has two doors to open it, but the inside is very small and you can't even step a foot inside (something tells me the person who built the house didn't care much for proportions; it's like this all over our house). I have a MASSIVE black dresser that we bought because my old one broke and the big one that I have in my room was the only one we could find so I kind of HAD to have it (we live in a very small town so there isn't much options). Then, on the right of my door, is my huge black bookshelf -- which doesn't even have the shelves inside because they were lost during the move -- along with a tiny white bookshelf with all my books actually inside on the opposite wall of my bed. Beside my bed on the right is a small (almost miniature) brown table that you can put a glass of water or a book or small lamp on beside the bed. On the left of my bed is a ton of boxes and bags of numerous items I haven't unpacked, along with the right and inside and beside my dresser is a ton of boxes and bags that I still need to clean up. My walls aren't even painted yet. How can I work with my room?? It's bad enough that I have such huge furniture... (the furniture looked average-sized in my old room, but in my current, small room the furniture looks giant). Also, I threw out all my old posters and everything before I moved so I have nothing to put on walls, also I have a wooden floor with no carpets. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have an attic or a basement. Nicely pack his stuff away and label the boxes so he can find something and put it all up or down. You can put your bed up on those six inch dealies you can get at Walmart and that will allow you to store stuff under your bed. At college my nephew put his bed up in the air and then use the space underneath for his desk. It was cool because he had stuff hanging from his bed and that quickly doubled the space in the room. YOu will have to be creative. I once put a dresser on top of a radiator. That probably was not smart but I so needed the room.
Whats a good color to paint my small bedroom?
ok really want to repaint my room but im having a bit of a problem...MY ROOM IS SMALL!!! and i want a color to make my room look at little bigger if possible. at first i was thinking about a Turqoise color and the ceiling and base boards white. but im having some second thoughts that tht will make it look even smaller than it is. so can someone help me with this

My rooms pretty small, and i'm re-decorating.. It's a small bedroom Currently i have hot pink walls and a double bed and it just doesn't gimme enough space.. So i'm switiching to a nice single bed and i want to change the colour and design on the wall... Any ideas of what to do? And how to make my room look bigger? Hi, I'm a 14 year old girl. my room is kinda small, how can I make it look bigger? I was thinking to put all of my clothes in my closet, and then get rid of the dresser. so then it might save some room. BUT....my room will still be tiny. is there anything I can do, a certain way to arrange things or something like that? like I want it to look nice and not to small and crowded. maybe pictures or something could help, or just explain it to me. thanks!
How do I decorate my small attic bedroom with a chimney in the middle of the room?
My family just moved into a new house on a lake & I moved into the attic, with sloped ceilings and all. I love this type of room except I have this big red brick chimney coming through the center of the room because of the fireplace downstairs. How do I decorate my room (and/or the chimney) to make it look cool & not totally out of place in my bedroom?
