There are tons of young companies looking for people who are energetic and capable, but most importantly they're looking for people who care. Startups require hard work and long hours but if you care about the mission and the quality of your work it'll feel more like a lifestyle than a job.You only have to be lucky once. I was. Horse racing is cruel. Who agrees?
You already asked this question earlier. I guess you didn't get the answer you wanted and decided to try again to find some one who will agree with you. Why would you ask this in a section where they LIKE horse racing? But to answer you question again. You may want to first learn about the sport before you start criticizing it. I will agree there are some people who don't practice the most ethical methods in horse racing. The same thing can be said about rodeo, hunter/jumpers, endurance, reining, cutting, western pleasure, english pleasure and so on. Have you ever heard the saying "Never criticize a person till you have walked a mile in their shoes. Well learn about horse racing before you make conclusions about it. I have been making my living with horses for over 27 years. I wouldn't be making my living with horses if I didn't love them. Again, there are some people who are less than ethical in their dealings with animals. But, are you going to judge all the sport that way? That is like saying "I don't like eating fish so all fishing is wrong and unethical." First if a horse breaks it's leg..it is dead. A horse can not be saved with a broken leg that is a FACT. A horse is a 1000lbs animal if it doesn't want to do something it WONT do it. They are taught to love it like I am sure you where taught to love something by a teacher yourself. Not every horse is overly pushed and the ones they really push are many times futurity horses, exceptional animals that thrive under the competition otherwise they wouldn't be in the program. Many wash out of the futurity program that go on to have long race careers. That 'huge heating thing' is a warm up pad to help loosen their muscles, much like any professional athlete will use to help prevent injury. The swim box is like water therapy used in physical therapy recovery for people. Again learn learn about the sport before making conclusions about something you know nothing about. You are just spreading your bigotry.
