How to keep a conversation going?
As you say you are 15 and the conversation thing stuns even adults - it is an experience thing. I found myself in a good job which meant I had to take people out to dinner (no I was not an escort) some one gave me a tip and I've found it invaluable even in my life and work today. Turn the conversation round to them - ask them Questions so it is THEM that are doing the answering. You then need to just get a grip of part of what they are saying and that forms the link for your next question. People LOVE to talk especially about themselves but rarely are they given the opportunity - you could end up really good at it and then people will refer to you as the one that is charming, yet you hardly said anything, except to maybe say, oh how wonderful, so how long have you been doing that? Is that your first visit to that theatre, do you have any other trips in mind, where do you like to sit (people sit in different places of the theatre for different reasons, sound etc) what do you do when you are not ????? say working at ??? Remember confidence is all a trick - just like magic it is subtle. Good luck
How to keep a conversation going on pof?
Does anyone have any good tips to keep a conversation going on plenty of fish or just online dating in general? I know people say to talk about thier interest or things both of you have in common but that will only last for a little then I'm completely lost. I'm so pitiful at keeping the convo alive all the time. I've been doing it for 1 month and must of got 50 replies/ messages from women and blew every damnnn one because I can never find out what hell to say its so frustrating. Do any men/ women mind sharing thier strategies of how they were succesful? Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks so much I don't want to continue till I have a solid stratagy/ plan. And how long should you wait till you can ask someone if they want to meet up without sounding like a creep?

Ok im 15 going into my sophmore year. Me and my friends go everywhere. friday were going to an amusment park. Everytime i pick up a chick i can NEVER keep the conversation going. I always ask what school she goes to what sport shes in but i an NEVER get past asking her questions like that. How can i keep the conversation going?

Girls will usually keep the conversations flowing themselves. If they are not, the best thing to do is to tell them that they, their ring, earring etc. looks beautiful. Keep the girl engaged by letting her talk about herself, laughing with her when necessary and just showing that you are actually listening to her. After a while, you will ease up. Most girls will put up a question here and there and will make you talk about yourself too. So you just need to hold on to the conversation. This happens more in real life. If you are talking via texts or online, it is highly likely that you will fall flat on the face. The girl will have her attention diverted sooner than you want and your chances of getting a conversation going will be gone.
How to keep a conversation going in text? Help?
Conversations should come naturally. Topics should flow or sometimes, in my conversations, when too many things are going on, I have to say "off-topic for a moment" and then we go back to the original conversation. Don't start off with "how's life?" or anything vague. Or if you're asked that, tell him something funny that happened to you recently. I personally humor is what keeps a conversation going. "What's up?" "Nothing. How about you?" "Me neither." is how a conversation ends. If nothing big is happening, you could say, "Me neither, but _________" and then whatever.
Girls, if you try to keep a conversation going?
I love to text but I am sure she has other people to text also so if she is texting you that much I would have to say there most be some kind of interest going on there. Maybe she something to her like I really enjoy texting with you we seem to be able to talk easy and see what she says back that might give you a clue. Good luck to you.... :)

I signed up for OkCupid a few days ago, I finally met someone there just yesterday who just seems like an amazing guy. I really like him, he's nice, and really good-looking. I messaged him just yesterday, and we've been talking ever since then. It just seems like the conversation's gone a bit, low, shall we say.
