I think what you meant is that you are skinny fat.You have spillage over you waist but other parts of your body are relatively lean. How can I reduce my love handles?

Man, I remember getting made fun of for my weightI had it both ways, first I was fat and made fun of for my weight. Then I was skinny and still made fun of.I wish I not only learned this, but was told it. Excuse any language but I am just trying to get it across.First of all whoever is making fun of you is not worth your time. F*ck them, their opinions don’t matter. Don’t take anything they say personally. They’re just showing their insecurities by attacking you.While their opinions don’t matter I do however commend you for wanting to make change. Grasp on that negative hate and use it to fuel you to change. Although I say grasp on to it, don’t hold on to it tightly and carry it with you. If you carry it too long it will only pull you down.Make it enjoyable. Make it about bettering yourself. Make it about you not them.Now, love handles is fat. Losing fat is losing fat, the same way you lose fat on you legs you lose them on your arms and your abs.Losing fat is the same no matter where it is.While you can target it to build muscle and “somewhat tone it”. Its about an energy deficit. You’ll have to lose the fat, unfortunately fat falls off randomly, usually at the most wanted parts last.You’ll have to eat less food than you burn daily, a calorie deficit.Besides normal ab workouts, just long ab (planks/leg raise/ab roller etc.), I don’t do much more. Maybe side obliques very very very very very…. very rarely. Which is basically once in every 6 months I decide to.Just exercise, lift weights, run, walk, do some ab workouts. Why are love handles called love handles (bits of fat on either side of the waste)?

Cuz, it gives your SO something to grab onto, either as a form of flirting, and to grab during love making, and/or passion, or to grab to get your attention for something, and sometimes to tease romantically.

To me it is how big that spot is, if too big, to me it can seem gross. So I can understand you asking. Some people's isn't that bad though and can seem enticing.

Will not eating get rid of love handles?

I'm not saying that Im going to stop eating. It's for my friend, she says that not eating will get rid of them. Does it? I don't want her to be anorexic :/
