How To Learn More Vocabulary

Best way to learn French vocabulary?

Hmm, this depends on your current level. I'll assume that you don't have the opportunity to meet with a native French speaker... I'd recommend the following:

Watching French films

Listening to French music

Reading French articles on subjects that interest you (eg sport)

Change your phone, facebook, email, video games etc. language to French. This is a great way to learn specialist vocab i.e. Inbox, Drafts etc

Buy (or borrow from a library, most library's have a foreign language section tucked away in some corner!) a few French children's books.

Using the above, you'll not only improve your French in a more entertaining way, you'll also learn about French culture at the same time. Your French will also sound more natural.

If you want some film/book/song titles feel free to drop me an email. Bonne chance !

How many days will it take James to learn all 75 vocabulary words?

This question is also based on arithmatic progression..
The sequence is 10,15,20....75...here,you know the last term..which is 75..so,you have to find the value of N..so,putting in the equation
last term=A+(N-1)D
SO,75=10+(N-1)5
SO,13=N-1
SO,N=14...so,james will take 14 days to learn all 75 vocabulary words

How do i enrich my word vocabulary?

Mick, it's both easy and fun to enrich your vocabulary.

Find a book that's just a little difficult for you--but fascinating. It can be anything, from graphic novel to romance or erotica, so long as it's a bit challenging.

Use an index card as your bookmark. When you find a word you don't know, or aren't sure of, jot it down. Add the page number. Later, look it up. Reread the sentence and see if it makes sense to you now.

Save the words you look up and their definitions in a Word document, for occasional review.
