How To Level Front Lawn

Lawn mower blowing white smoke out the front and it has not been over filled with oil.?

First off check the oil level and make sure it is not TOO FULL. Second off clean or replace your air filter. If the mower had too much oil or was tipped on its side to replace the battery there may have been some oil accumulation in the exaust. Once you have checked these things, start it up and run it for a bit it should stop smoking fairly soon.

If your front lawn is 19.0 feet wide and 20.0 feet long?

A compound is 53.31% C, 11.18% H, and 35.51% O by mass. What is its empirical formula? The molecular mass of the compound is 90 amu. What is the molecular formula?

mass of C in a mole of compound = 53.30 % of 90 g = 48 g of C = 48 /12 moles of C = 4 moles
mass of H in a mole = 11.18 % of 90g = 10g ot 10 moles of H
mass of O = 35.51 % of 90g = 32 g or 2 moles of O

molecular formula = C4H10O2

What is the differance in a front wheel and rear wheel drive lawnmower, which is best?

I repair, sell new and used mower... so I get to use a lot of different mowers. It all depends on your needs... first make sure the mower drive is a direct drive so the wheels will turn no matter what. Now, most mowers are front wheel drive... if your lawn is level front wheel drive is good... if you have a hill rear wheel drive is best. If the lawn is rough the big/high wheels in rear are helpful. Both front and rear wheel drive are good, but a lot depends on your needs to which is best. Not sure which mower you are talking about, but at a guess the one you are talking about should be worth around $250 to $300 new... maybe a little more, has a Brigs & Stration motor on it, usally a 22 inch cut. Should be a good one, but there are also better one.... but then they will cost about $1000 new.
(Buy the way, I just sold a new Brute, (a $250 to $300 mower) its almost like the one you are talking about... had never been started... the buyer put gas and oil in it for the first time and was asking $160 for it.)

My house is on a lower level than the road and when it rains most of the water gets into the compound and into the house. What can i do about it?

There are many good answers here offering large scale remediation, which may be justified. I have dealt with this condition around my own house in a more modest way.First, I'd ask if water is draining off the roof into this area. Is the roof being drained a larger area than the yard? If so, simply directing the roof water fway from this area might solve the problem. If that isn't the problem then try these two key alterations to eliminate the problem:1. Regrade the soil to make the water flow away from the house. If the ground slopes in a straight line from the road to the house remove soil to create a low area to collect water away from the house. This could be enough to end the problem and should be much cheaper than waterproofing the foundation.2. If this is not entirely successful add a "french drain" at the new low point in yard. This will hold or carry water away from the house. A french drain is a channel in the soil lined with a filter membrane and filled with gravel. A perforated, flexible pipe in the trench sloped to carry water away is the best practice. If there is no place to carry the water to, the french drain can still work. The gravel trench will act as a containment area and allow the water to slowly soak into the ground. You can do this without precise planning and be successful, but the advantage of a civil engineer would be reliable calculation of the likely volume of water, the permeability of the soil and the design of the drain system.Moving the water away from the house by this method should be cheaper, less disruptive and more successful than trying to waterproof the foundation.

Driveway height next to my lawn?

Being 30 feet away you are probably OK with it being raised above the lawn level unless it would create a pond between the house and the driveway. Keeping the driveway above the lawn will extend the time between laying the stone and the next time you will have to refill it. As you drive over the stone it will start to sink into the ground because of vehicle weight.

What is wrong with my John Deere riding lawn mower?

Easy, either the deck is not level, or the spindle on the left side is worn out. To level the deck, check the tire pressure, 14psi r, 10 psi f, there are two leveling bolts that attach the deck to the lift. On a level surface, set the mower to the correct cutting height and then using a tape measure, check the height of the blade tips with the blades perpendicular to the mower. Turn the nuts on the leveling bolts to level the mower deck. Also check that the front-rear leveling is correct. The rear of the deck should be 3/4'' to 1'' higher than the front. Use the deck leveling bolts and the front hanger.

If the spindle is worn out, there should be a distinct scraping sound when you run the mower.

Take the mower to your local John Deere dealer and they will be able to fix the problem.
