How To Like It Two Books In

Is it okay to read two books at a time?

Yes and NoIt’s okay to read two books at a time. Why?Because you might find books more interesting when jumping from one book to another after reading say 50–60 pages, and this continuous to and fro shift will make you feel cherished until a time.I’ve done this a several times while reading a classic fiction (Which requires a complete attention) and a spiritual/self-help book. I’d read 20–30 pages of a classic fiction and then would read some 150–200 pages of spirituality books, and if I’m reading a general fiction, I’d read 200–300 pages of it and read spirituality books. This thing can be done only when there is a difference of genre. However,It’s only okay, when you’re stuck in a book and want to be quick with reading. It’s not okay to read two books at a time because it might distract you from the plot, characters, moral of the story and what the authors wanted to see. It might happen that you find yourself trying to link a plot of one with another, when there’s no relation between them actually.I haven’t done this for more than 3 books. So, yeah, this is how you go ahead with reading two/three/four books at a time. When I took this picture, I was reading The God of Small Things (1997 book), Strategy by Harvard Business Review and The Man Who Knew Infinity (book) at a same time.See these all books are of different genres.I think you’d like to read some of my answers on the topic of book, including recommendations too, here.My Answers on Books by Akshat Solanki on Read Something

Which of these two books do you like (best/better) ? Which one of these do I use in such sentence?

You use 'better', because if you have only two items, each can only be 'better' or 'worse' than the other. In order to use 'best' or 'worst', you need at least 3 items. That way, something can be 'better' than all of the other items, and therefore be the 'best'. This doesn't apply for if the 'best' item is only in a set of two items.

Books like two-way street?

so, i just finished the book two way street by lauren barnholdt.

I LOVED IT!

i like books that are definately teen girly-ish books and have some secrets, and surprises in them.

i hope you guys get what types of books im talking about.

oh, and i already read twilight..
so something other than that :)

How can i join two books together?

my school exercise book is about to finish, and i'd like to think of a way i can join a new book after it and make it look like one. i need to do so because i still need to use this same book throughout the whole year.

my books look something like this:

and i have reasons for wanting to join the two books into one. i've thought about stapling them together (and even tried it out) but it doesn't work.

please provide me with some ideas. thanks a bunch!

Good books like The Pact?

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It's absolutely beautiful, and you will definitely root for the main characters. It's much better than the movie, in my opinion! And yes, there is sex scenes, along with other explicit scenes XD

The Time-Traveler's Wife b Audrey Niffenegger. Also has a movie out, but once again I prefer the book. It's fantastic!

One Day by David Nicholls. Seriously, I'm reading this right now so I'm not completely done with it, but I am in love with it so far! It's written so well and it's a bit hard to put down. Turns out this also has a movie out, in theaters... but I haven't seen that one yet. Still, great book!

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is fantastic, but really sad in my opinion. Another of his books that I really liked was A Walk to Remember (bawled my eyes out and have read it multiple times, each time in a day because I can't put it down), and I've heard a lot of people love The Last Song and Dear John. I've only read the first two, but he's a brilliant romance author. His stories definitely make you feel.

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers was an amazing book to me, but it might throw you off if you aren't religious (or if you aren't of the same religious faith) because it's a historical Christian book. Don't be too decieved, though - I wasn't all that religious when I read it, and I still couldn't put it down! It's about a farmer who believes that God wants him to win the heart and marry the most acclaimed prostitute at a brothel. It's a real love story, though, and despite the genre, I'd say there are some pretty intimate moments.

My Name is Memory... is by Anne Brashares. I haven't finished reading this one either, but it's sort of a supernatural love story about reincarnation, sort of. This boy and girl are meant to be together, but something goes wrong in every life they have, and they never quite get together. The boy can remember every life, but the girl is oblivious, so he is always in love with her while she has to learn to love him over time, over and over again with every life. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's better than it sounds.

Books for people who like Misfits?

The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. Its got sci fi elements, some swearing but not that much, it is very funny in some parts, they all have powers and different cool kinds, crazy twists, there is action in nearly every chapter, and i loved the characters! There are seven books in the series so far and a new book coming out august the sixth. I hope that helps i really enjoyed those books and they all vary in size.
