How do i really log out of facebook messenger on iphone?
I installed the facebook messenger app on an iphone I received for temporary use. When I was done, I went to settings and chose log out. I then uninstalled the app. To test, I re-installed it and when I opened it up, it said that I was logged on as [myself] and to press the Continue button. I did that and was looking at my account without having to supply an e-mail and password. How do I actually log off so that the next person who gets the phone can't get into my facebook account? I had thought that using the Log Out button would have worked...
Messenger for Facebook. Always appear online?
So why don't you ask your friend, how she do that? I don't use FB apk & I don't use FB Messenger, as I don't think it's necessary to install one and thus using space in my memory; I don't do Chat either as I don't see any advantage in doing so, I only use Message inside FB full site. But to my knowledge & experience, only if I open my Chat, it will show that I'm online (green dot in my Chat). Friends who send Chat to me will be received in my Inbox folder inside Messenger when my Chat is off. So maybe that's why your friends seems not online. So, do not open your Chat. For precaution, in case by accident you open it, as it happened a lot, do the following. Turn On Chat ➤ click cog icon on top right ➤ click Advance Chat Setting ➤ tick Turn on chat for only some friends ➤ write a name of your friend who you know never open their Chat, or a friend who you don't care if they know you're on line/not ➤ Save ➤ Turn Off Chat. That way you're offline for all except for the one you put their name in there if by any chance you do click Chat On. The above is my setting as I don't want to chat to anybody. I believe you get the idea, so you can modify it as you wish if you want to do the chatting. Whether my above explanation/experience works as well with that FB Messenger I really don't know. You can try it, and if it doesn't work, then uninstall FB Messenger, if you prefer not to be seen online, just use the Message inside your FB.
Facebook messenger on iPhone won't let me send messages to anyone?
I just made a new Facebook and the Facebook I was using before didn't have this problem. I can press send but right away the red exclamation mark appears next to a message I attempted to send and the error says that there was a problem connecting to messenger. I tried on my Iphone AND my Ipad and it won't work on either one. I tried deleting the app and downloading it, I tried logging in and logging out, I tried restarting my devices and nothing will work.
Bug with Facebook Messenger and IOS messenger?
Okay, so a few days ago I downloaded the Facebook Messenger on my Iphone and it needed a confirmation code and it sent it to my phone with the IOS messenger, I put in the confirmation code and the FB messenger was ready to use. The next day, I was joking around and texted hi to 326-65 (Thats the number that gave me the code), and after a while I heard my phone ding a few times and I checked what it is and it was some facebook notifications about my friends commenting on my post. Then I went on facebook to check what post, and it was a post I never knew I posted! Just a few minutes ago! And turns out whenever I text anything to the number, it posts on facebook! Is this a bug, or some sort of hack?

Does facebook messenger use up your data plan?
"Data" in phone plans, is basically internet usage (shown by the symbols 3G, o, or E on the iPhone at the top). Connecting to a wifi hub does not use up your data. Any app that uses the internet while you are not connected to a wifi hub will use up your data. Facebook/Fb Messenger uses internet, oof course. Test your apps to see which ones use internet by putting your phone on aeroplane mode and checking to see if they still work.
Is it possible to use Blackberry's Yahoo Messenger / Facebook even without the data plan (just wifi)?
Both the Facebook and Yahoo Messenger applications require a wireless data plan. You can access both of them via the web browser using wifi but you won't be able to run the apps directly from your phone.
Why is my tinder app not connecting to Facebook?
