Get motivated now! I lost 20 pounds about 1 year prior to my wedding by going to the gym 3 times a week and eating less junk food. The planning was so stressful that I put 10 back on. I was disappointed when I got my pictures, I looked big :( Just remember that the pictures will last forever...that should be enough motivation. Even though it wasn't for me. I was just thinking, "I am what I am :)" Maybe start doing some toning exercises. You don't want to look too different from your normal self. Start off slowly, though. I tried to do a complete 180..that was nuts. Start by drinking lots of water. I'm doing that now, and it really makes a difference.

weight watchers is actually very very good especially since you have an entire year and only need to lose 20 pounds. weight watchers ( I have not personally done it) but I have quite a few friends who have , including doctors and everyone i know who did weight watchers took it off slowly but kept it off. Remember the slower it comes off the easier to keep off. Plus weight watchers is more of a way of living than a diet, because you add up points, so if you want to have a glass of wine or a pice of cake on saturday you cut back on points the rest of the week. you can eat at most restuarnts including fast food.

I had triplets and gained 100 pounds, the first 50 cam off almost immediately but a year later i was shocked and too emberrased to even put on a bathing suit, so i lost my weight through a program called Metabolic research. BELIEVE ME IT WORKS, I DID NOT ONLY GET BACK TO MY ORIGINAL 110 POUNDS IN FOUR MONTHS I GOT DOWN TO 100, but it was so hard, at times i did not think i could make it. I just kept repeating their motto "Nothing taste as good as being skinnny feels" It was hard for the first two or three weeks becasue I had to give up everything, all sugar caffein etc. I could not even have diet coke. But something happened week three, i went in for my twice weekly weight check and i was down 10 pounds. i decided to buy new clothes and i was down two sizes. Believe me that wa enough motivation to keep going.

i am not suggesting that metabolic is for everyone. it is hard, and it is expensive. But i wanted the weight off fast and for me i had to follow something that rigid because if i was allowed the luxerous tha weigh watchers gives i would cheat here and there etc. with metabolic it is a chemical thing so you have to follow it strictly, i mean if you deviate at all you will not lose weight that week. i am not sure of their success for keeping it off, i know they have a maintenace program, but i did not follow it. i was never an overweight person i just needed a jump start, a kick in the butt. omce i got back to my normal size i went back to eating the way i always did. i am at or near the same weight for 8 years now

you can always ask your doctor for meridia, the diet pill. my doc prescibes it with two other topimax and medphorin or soemthing like that and he and everyone i know who take htat cocktail are all super thin and NEVER EVER HUNGRY

Eat a max of 15-20g of carbs a day. You're allowed to eat all lean meats that aren't high in carbs such as chicken, beef, steak, fish etc. and you're allowed to eat fat too. Not too much though. Not too many fruits or veggies are alloed on tthe diet. Just eat lettuce.

No bread, rice, anything made out of flour basically.

Take centrum to make up for vitamins and nutrients you're losing out on.

And take centrum as a fiber supplement.

Eat a max of 1200 calories a day and split your meals into 5-6 seperate meals.

Walking is enough exercise on this diet. Do it everyday though.

And drink a ton of water everyday. I'm talking like 3 litres because protein breakdown takes long and you want to fluch out your body regularly.

But, I will try to recite the techniques used by Amir Khan to lose “huge weight”, which he had to put on, for his blockbuster film “Dangal”. The schedule helped him to lose 2 kgs per week. Here is the schedule :He used to wake up early in the morning and go for mountaineering for 3 hours . He would eat his breakfast then and there only.After returning from the “good morning trek”, at 12:00 pm, he used to have lunch. And, after the lunch he would rest for two hours .Again, From 2 pm to 3 pm he would go to the gym for weight training and, from 3 pm to 4 pm to swimming+cardio exercises .In the evening, from 4 pm to 6 pm he would play tennis or go for cycling.And to finish the day he used to walk for two hours.So, he exercised for 7 to 8 hours a day!!!! Exhaustive, isn't it?Moreover, He added that our diet should be very strict. It should not include fats and carbs, as they have high calorie content . Make a diet with the help of your gym trainer and follow it strictly. No compromise in it.4. Don't just depend on gym. Take some small steps in your day to day life. For example:        a) Drink green tea every morning empty stomach instead of normal tea or coffee.        b) Drinks lots and lots of water.        c) Take stairs. No matter if it is 10th floor or 1st floor take stairs. (I climb to 8th floor of my office, 4th floor to my flat and 4th floor to my sister's home every day more than just once everyday.)        d) Swim everyday. You can burn lot of calories just by swimming.5. Never gym on the basis of hours per day. Set a goal for yourself on the basis of your workout and increase it everyday.
