I have been heavy all my life with is about 6 times longer than you.

1. Start eating slower. Do that tonight!

2. To start dieting, change the food you eat slowly. Start drinking water instead of Coke and that included Diet Coke.

3. Then in a few days, stop the cookies and cakes and start on fruits and vegetables.

4. Then a week later, at the dinner table, leave some meat on your plate and ask for more vegetables.

5. For breakfast, have a hard boiled egg or 1 cup raisin bran with skim milk.

Do this slowly not all in one day! Change your diet over a week or two. After you made these changes, the weight will start to come off. The trick is to be consistant and stick to the new way of eating. Good luck!

Ok so I took into consideration that I can't lose 40 pounds in 2 weeks. I don't want 2 die lol! So how about 25 pounds in 2 weeks how can I do that! Can anybody give me some good ideas on how I could possibly lose up to 30-40 lbs n 2 weeks.or even a month I am just about 6 ft. And I weigh almost 170 I don't look it other than my butt and legs and I have a little bit of a gut. I'm scared of gaining more weight with it being winter

Hi! I need to lose 40 pounds. I am 5'6 and weigh a whopping 163 pounds... WAY too much. I really want to get down to 125, because I know that that is where I will look best and will feel most confident. I am saying 40 pounds just to be simple, but even if it isn't that much I want to be below 130. I have been overweight since i was 6 (16 now) and can't stand it anymore. some days i think that if i didn't look this way people would like me and i would have friends... some days i just want to die because death would be better than the wasteland i call my life now, but i tell myself, "Just get to 130 and you will be happy." I really need to lose this weight. I don't see the point in living anymore if people are going to criticize me for every aspect of my body, like my fat thighs or thick waist or big bones. I. just. can't.
Being this big has really made my life suck. I have been bullied constantly since i was 8 about my weight, being called Fatty, Tubby, you name it. Kids thought it was funny to pick on the fat lonely weak girl, and i guess they still do, because kids now give me coupons for weight watchers and jenny craig, and leave notes in my locker of how i look compared to everyone else (they draw a bunch of stick figures with names attached then at the end separated from the others there is one that is literally a circle with my name underneath. They send me fake cards saying no one will ever love/care about me because i am too fat to deserve it. I just want to go to school one day and not get called fatty/get pushed against a locker so that they can take my money for lunch saying a cow like me doesn't need or deserve lunch.
I am already on a diet, and have been for the past 3 years, but only managed to gain about 30 more pounds. I gain at least 12 pounds every year, what is wrong with me?
i only drink water, and don't like sweets (aside from dark chocolate). i tried to go vegan but that didn't last long. i love fruits and veggies but my mom never buys them. i love swimming and the elliptical and running and exercise every week day, burning about 1000 calories each time. i count my calories, only eating around 600-800 a day.

I'd suggest you cut out all breads,pasta,caffeine, and sugars. Stick to veggies and good o'water. For exercises work out at least 5 times a week. When you watch TV lift weights and during commercials Do crunches/sit ups(keep your tummy sucked in for faster results) If your neck aches you're doing it wrong! Lots and lots of jogging maybe an hour everyday. Calorie intake should be 1000-1200 since your wanting to lose 30-40 pounds. Push ups help with toning your arms. Out your legs up on a couch with you back on the ground and do two sets of 30 sit ups ( of course keeping your tummy tucked In). Hope this helps
