How To Lose Pure Body Fat Realistically

If starvation stores fat, how do anorexics lose weight?

I'm going to do a water fast, but my friend's mom told me not eating stores fat because your body goes into starvation mode. If that's true, how come anorexics lose weight? I'm not really trying to starve myself but i've been high every hour i've been woke for the last 3 years [i smoked ALL the time, soon as my high died down i smoked again}, and I want to cleanse my body of toxins.

How much body fat will a typical person lose on a 12-week cut?

How typical are we talking? The typical person goes on a diet without any qualified help, cuts out the majority of carbs, exercises like crazy, loses 5–10 pounds fast, burns out, and gives up.I saw it all the time working at a gym. When done properly with a proven plan or with a coach, I’ve seen people lose between 6 and 30 pounds in 12 weeks, depending on experience level, but the physique appearance is usually drastically different. Not to mention newbie gains.Someone who is new, trains effectively, and eats 500 calories below maintenance per day may lose 12 pounds of fat, but gain 6 pounds of muscle in 3 months. Total bodyweight is only down 6 pounds, but looks way better.Best bet is to learn about calories, use calorie tracking apps, strength train 3–4 days per week, and aim to lose 8–12 pounds in 12 weeks.Reassess what you want to do from there.

What is the best way to lose 50 pounds of fat in 2 months?

Weight lose is determined by running a calorie deficit.Because 3,500 calories equals about 1 pound (0.45 kilogram) of fat, you need to burn 3,500 calories more than you take in to lose 1 pound. So, in general, if you cut 500 calories from your typical diet each day, you'd lose about 1 pound a week (500calories x 7 days = 3,500 calories)This puts you at about 10 pounds in 2 months. If you want to lose 50 then times it by 5.You would need to run a calorie deficit of 2500 calories per day. This is extreme and not recommended.

How long does it take to lose 1 pound of fat?

Your body can only oxidize fat at a rate of approximately 31 calories per pound of body fat a day, whilst this number may vary based on a whole range of factors, this is why it is generally advised when losing weight to stick to a daily caloric deficit of about 500-600 calories (If your deficit is too aggressive, the body will have to turn to other sources such as muscle to get the additional required energy). The more body fat you have, the higher your caloric deficit can be and still be burning fat. Generally you can lose about 1-2 pounds a week based on your body composition. Long story short - a deficit of 3500 calories in one day would not reflect a pound of fat loss. To lose one pound will take 3-4 days absolute minimum (at around 900 calories deficit a day for an overweight person), but generally is going to take 5-6 days at 700 calories a day deficit.

I've only lost 3 lbs in 9 days...I wish it was more?

I'm a server, I work 2 jobs and go to school 5 days a week. On top of that, since April 10th I've been doing the insanity "Pure Cardio" dvd. (excluding 2 rest days my calves were killing me!). Compared to how I was eating, I've been eating pretty darn good. Is 3 pounds in 9 days pretty normal? Should I have lost more or less? Knowledgeable answers only please! I'm female, 5"5' and started at 180lbs. Thanks for the input!

Oh! I'm trying to weigh 140 by October 4th (MY WEDDING DATE!!!!) Think this is possible? I've got 168 days to go...

Thanks again.
