How to lose belly fat without losing weight?

You're struggling with a condition that I call being "skinny fat". I've been that way myself and many guys find themselves in this category. Here are the symptoms of skinny fat:

1. When it comes to your weight, you are normal to underweight but at the same time - your bodyfat is higher than average.

2. You have minimal muscle definition.

3. Your frame is narrow/thin, but at the same time has a "soft" appearance to it.

Does this sound something like you? The problems you're experiencing come from the wrong diet and a lack of proper excercise. Someone in your position needs WAY more protein than they're likely getting and needs to build muscle. Building muscle will do two things for you: it will give you a better overall shape and it will help to incinerate fat (as muscle requires calories just to sustain itself, so it's burning fat around the clock).

Here are some helpful tips:

-eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones. You should be eating every 2-3 hours that you're awake. Each meal should include a lean protein source (such as chicken breast, turkey breast, egg whites, whey protein, fish, or extra lean red meat) and a healthy carbohydrate (such as fresh fruit, whole grains, potatoes or yams). Two of the meals at least should include a vegetable (particularly a green leafy vegetable).

-eat 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight that you would like to be. So if you're going for say 170 lbs., you need 170 grams of protein a day. Doesn't sound like much? Put it this way - one chicken breast has about 25 grams of protein. You see where I'm going with this.

-weight train 6 days a week minimum. I would suggest Mondays and Thursdays - chest/back, Tuesdays and Fridays - biceps/triceps, Wednesdays and Saturdays - shoulders/legs. Abs can be done on any of the days as long as they're not hurting. Throw in 30 minutes of cardio 3 times a week. Cardio isn't as important as you think it is. Building muscle and proper diet is key.

Keep at it and you'll see the results you want.

Best way to lose belly fat for men?

I am 5'10 I weigh 180lb, I can bench 225lb, and have good lifting habits, I have been eating healthier and I have a good amount of muscle, but have a gut.
I have been running around the neighborhood, and have been doing 3-3.5 miles, in 35 minutes

Its not that great, but I want to know the best tips.
I know obviously I have to do ab work, but what are the best methods.
For example if i can do 40 crunchees relatively easy, should I do as many crunchees as I can without stopping or break up and do 2-3 sets.

Any tip that helps on ab work is appreciated.

Also if I want to lose body fat running, is it better to do a fast jog for longer times, or running/sprinting for 2 minutes (with 30 senconds fast walk break) and then sprinting, and eventually increasing my sprinting time.

As much detail as you can give me will help.

I want to build muscle not just tone, but grow them, and have been doing a good job in terms of legs, chest, back and arms, but still have body fat.
I don't want to waste energy running that isn't efficient and isn't going to help losing body fat.
What are the best tips for running and ab work for losing body fat?
thanks.
