1. My lifting schedule is usually Monday-Wed-Friday. I usually do two sets of different weights until failure. I try and make it so my reps are between 3 reps and 8 reps. I've been lifting consistently for about a month now and have started to see some progress. However, the last I lifted, I wasn't able to lift as much as I could previously. I couldn't do 145 today but was able to do it two days ago. Is my body still soar from lifting last time so I am able to lift more at the beginning of the week than I am at the end? Or is my benching weight maybe going down for some reason? Each day I drink two whey protein shakes and after I lift I have one as well, each one has 30 grams of protein so I was hoping this will improve my bench.

Also, if I were to take a week off of lifting until failure, would this make my bench press go down?

Finally, if I continue to lift 3x per week, is it reasonable to assume I'll gain 10lbs per month or so until I hit around 200? I'm at 140-145 now.
