What does MEP stand for?
I keep running into these videos on youtube that are Disney 'MEP' - and I can't figure out what this stand for! They are all like AMV's (Anime Music Videos), but just with disney characters (taking a song and putting it to images of cartoon/anime scenes). Please let me know if you know what this is, it's been driving me crazy! Thanks!
Why do people make fun of someone who watches anime?
It’s because most people don’t really understand the concept of anime and automatically assume negative things about anime based on what they have heard or read from another source. Hence, people tend to dislike things that they don’t understand or can’t grasp the concept of.I’m one of many anime fans that has experienced the constant jokes about Hentai and those random moments when someone comes up to you and out of the blue says: “SENPAI!” or “KAWAIIIII”. Like seriously? It makes me cringe when I hear people say those words. Also people think they can learn Japanese from watching anime. Sure. Maybe a few phrases. But those phrases aren’t going to help you when visiting Japan.
