How to clean and make a teddy bear smell nice?

I recently got this huge teddy, but it still kinda smells like the shop and i dont like it. I would like to safey clean it and give it a nice smell, any answers?

I love my pillows and teddy bears more than anything else, and if they got destroyed I feel like I might just take my own life too. I feel like I would do anything to revive them. What should I do?

Get rid of them. No, really. Get rid of them.Any physical object that makes you feel this way is a danger to your wellbeing. You know why? Because someday, they will be destroyed. Nothing in this world lasts forever. Your teddies and pillow will also be gone one day, perhaps lost, perhaps damaged beyond repair, but ultimately gone. And the knowledge of simple fact will produce a constant feeling of anxiety as you wait for the inevitable to happen. Is your mental wellbeing really as cheap as some stitched fabric and stuffing? It is even more importany that you take time to understand WHY you are so emotionally invested in those stuffed objects. It’s most likely because there is something else you hold dear which you have mentally associated with those objects, like the memory of a loved one or the nostalgia of childhood, and so the love you feel for them is just emotional transferance. You can uncover those emotions and motivations if you really question yourself, and you can dissociate those values from the objects. The pillow and teddies are not physically as important as you think. They can be destroyed or given away, and you can and will survive without them. Personally, I would take away that fear of the inevitable and get rid of them, even if it’s just to prove a point.Free yourself from the lie you are telling yourself. You brought nothing into this world and you take nothing with you. No object is really worth the level of importance you are giving to those pillows and teddy bears.

Fleas got on my teddy bear, how long should he be in a trash bag?

My dog has fleas, but before I figured that out she laid down on my bed. I washed all of my sheets and blankets, but she also laid on my favorite teddy bear and two fluffy pillows that can only be spot cleaned. I put all three things in a plastic trash bag, thinking that the fleas will either suffocate or starve. How long will it be before I can take my teddy bear and pillows out?
Thank you.

Can i take a large teddy bear on the plane?

Yes, you can. I have traveled internationally and domestically with 2 large carry-ons (a roller bag and a large backpack) and I usually bring a big pillow or a large stuffed animal. They don't count it as a carry-on, especially if you are holding it and not carrying it in something like a shopping bag. Keep it with you during the flight and rest on it. If anyone questions you about it, say you are bringing it for your comfort.

Hugging Pillow?

haha sadly yes..but pretending it was a guy. I don't know how to make it feel more real..I don't do it too often. but good luck!

Is there a knock off of Build-A-Bear or Pillow Pet?

My daughter (12, almost 13) was not acting her age & said she wants a Build-A-Bear. She has about 7 of them. But they are old and she wants to make a new one. I was thinking about it for her next birthday (in August) because they are kind of pricey (from $10-$18, without any accessories). Are there any places that have fake Build-A-Bears? What about Pillow Pets that are the same size as the brand, but cheaper? Thanks!

Is it normal to cuddle teddy bears when you're 21?

The only thing about your question that gives me some pause is that you feel compelled to hide the guy due to shame. Which, to me, suggests an unhealthy relationship with an inanimate object. But if your compulsion to hide it is simply due to societal pressures and you assuming you are too old for a teddy bear.. then don’t worry about it.Be proud of Theodore. And of yourself. We are never too old for the things that give us comfort. So, really, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.Yet.If at any point you find yourself without your teddy bear, and you become anxious, then you might need to start a period of separation.Like, if you go out of town and forget to bring him and find yourself unable to sleep, or if someone jokes around about kidnapping him or throwing him away or donating him to a children’s hospital and you freak out and start scream-crying..Then get Ted a studio apartment in the city and you can stay at your house for a while. Just to figure things out. Also, if you are speaking to the bear, and the bear is speaking back, it’s time to get rid of it.Especially if it’s an evil bear that can actually talk. And you aren’t just imagining things. Because, Seth MacFarlane movies aside, all talking stuffed animals are inherently evil.

Why can't I sleep without a teddy bear?

There are positive feelings/emotions associated with teddy bears buried in your subconscious. Seeing teddy probably causes your mind to unconsciously recall these happy feelings every time you are with him.Go teddy!
