How To Make Dolls/dummies/playing Figures

Why am I having this dream about a possessed doll?

This dream means that you are scared of something, whether it be a person, place, thing or situation. It's reverting you back to your childhood and innocence. It could also mean that you need to “wake up” to a new life, idea or way of doing something. You could be afraid of a person and need to find a way to get past that fear and be more of yourself around them. You could fear a place and need to work through it to allow that place to not make you be fearful of it. It could be a thing, a tangible physical thing and you may need to look at it from a different perspective. It could be a situation and you want to get through that situation without adversity or conflict. Think about things that are going on within your own life right now and what you FELT during the dream. This will give you the answers you seek.

Chucky from Child's Play, or the Jigsaw doll from Saw?

Chucky

A figurine possessed by the spirit of a mass murderer."
Although trapped in the body of a doll, Chucky retains many human qualities, most notably the ability to bleed human like, as his innards are filled with living organs. Chucky also has the ability to procreate, as depicted in Seed of Chucky. He himself states in Bride of Chucky, "I am anatomically correct, ya' know.." It is interesting to note that Chucky acquires more human qualities the longer he inhabits his doll body. When Chucky first inhabits a doll body, he will be temporarily invincible. Once he remains in the body for a matter of time (usually a few days), Chucky progressively gains more human qualities, thus causing him to become more vulnerable. If Chucky stays in a doll body for too long, he will obtain full human qualities and will be trapped in the body forever. Only in Child's Play 2 has this occurred.

Jigsaw doll

ventriloquist's dummy, as his jaw is movable in order to give the suggestion that he is talking, although he is not used in the same manner, instead being seen moving "on his own". His face is white, and he has a protruding brow and cheeks that have red spirals painted on them. His red lips form a grin. His eyes are black, with red irises, and his head is topped with black, messy hair.

Billy is always depicted as wearing a black tuxedo, with a white undershirt and gloves, red bow tie, and red handkerchief in the breast pocket. He also has red Mary-Janes for shoes. In the short film, he is seen wearing a green bowler hat. He is often seen riding an old-fashioned, red tricycle. The only sound delivered "directly" by him is a generic electronic cackle much like one would find in a Halloween-type toy.

It was revealed in Saw IV that Billy's design was taken from a smaller, slightly different, version that John had shown to his then-wife, Jill.

Chucky is so real..and so he wins and HE is my avitar in other sites lol.

Are the dead bodies in TV shows well-made dummies or are they played by the actor?

The dead bodies are sometimes dummies and sometimes real actors. There's a WSJ article on corpse actors:"NCIS" and "CSI" also use mannequins molded in the likeness of the actor who plays the victim. These take a couple of weeks to create and cost about $7,800.A typical crime drama shoots in eight days and costs around $2.5 million. Making regular use of these fake stiffs is too costly in time and money. And corpse actors also lend verisimilitude. "The truth is nothing looks more realistic than an actor playing dead," says "NCIS" executive producer Mark Horowitz. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB...

What does Barbie symbolize?

My English class read a poem about a Barbie Doll. It was a tragic story about a girl who committed suicide because she couldn't meet the standards Barbie invisibly sets. My question is what does the Barbie Doll symbolize to you? To me, it basically symbolizes an unabtainable perfection we must all reach, but what about you?

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013 movie): Why did Katniss create the hanging Seneca Crane dummy during her individual assessment?

If you recall, Seneca Crane was the Head Gamemaker in the first book and movie.  If anyone was in charge of the arena and possibly who dies or lives, it would be him.  Then after Peeta and Katniss win, he dies, and is never heard of again.  Why?Seneca Crane was the one who chose to tell the tributes that two from the same district could win.  Now obviously we know that was because he wanted to get Peeta and Katniss to fight each other.  But his plan clearly backfired when they almost committed suicide together.  He would have had no victor, so instead, he allowed them to have two.  President Snow makes it clear that this is why he died.  But why is it bad?The whole purpose of the Hunger Games is to control the districts.  It keeps them under submission so they don't revolt again.  When Seneca Crane changed the rules and allowed both Peeta and Katniss to win, it showed the districts that the Capitol was not in complete control.  That two teenagers could defy the Capitol and get away with it.  Snow could not have that.  So he punished the one he saw as instigating the problem, be it ever so unintentional.Katniss was fed up with the Capitol.  She wanted them to see what a dangerous game they were playing (no pun intended).  She appealed to their sense of self-preservation.  If Seneca Crane, Head Gamemaker, wasn't even safe, then in what position were they?  If Snow cared so little about his minions that he would kill one for such a seemingly small mistake, then what were they doing with him?

Why do people fear dolls?

I am not afraid of dolls.Them dolls are cute and harmless little “things”. Nobody should fear them. Period.Having said that. Let me introduce you to the doll in our house. Here it is.My bad, let me take some stuff out of the way for you to see her.One set of creepy and extra long legs, Ladies and gentlemen. There she is. A beauty in the rough. One must wonder, what cold hearted idiot would shove such a lovely thing down there. That’s not appropriate.Meet Nabeela. My in-laws gifted this doll to my daughter on her 4th birthday I think. She played with it for some time but now this doll has been sitting on a shelf for quite a long while collecting dust. I didn’t even notice her for years until one night when I was home alone browsing the web in peace.Let me remake the scene for you to have a mental image.I looked back at her as I noticed. Though she has laid there minding her own business for months but that night she some how managed to make me feel her presence. Before that she never existed to me.Hmm. Okay… back to SUITS (which btw is an awesome TV series). After some minutes. I again turned my head giving her a good gaze to ensure she is… where she is suppose to be instead of right behind me like this.I wouldn’t call it fear. But I wasn’t comfortable any more, being honest. I just kept getting this stupid urge to look back at her a few times. Then I practically approached and grabbed her. Please ignore my disrespectful behavior and for the love of all things sacred…. don’t you move your eye balls and look at me. You won’t. Would you? Then I gave her an unintended rotate to face me… kicking things up a notch.Let me say I in particular do not fear them. But I don’t want their presence around me in my lonesome…. especially when I’ve noticed them. No matter how much you convince me that they won’t look back at me. Sorry. They do!Maybe you haven’t heard of Chucky. Okay a little exaggeration here.So yea…. that’s how she ended up shoved in stuff… never being able to see the light of day again. I refuse this basic right to our creepy little doll.Update - When I was taking a selfie of us both with she standing behind me. She suddenly fell. It’s not scripted I swear :)See? Told you these things can induce concerns, if not fear. :-)Goodness gracious me!

Simply by the act of moving forward, are we implying a journey such that a ...?

destination is inevitably conjured into being via the very manifestation of the nature of life itself? Now we can both agree that the nature of existence is, in fact, a by-product of one's subjective experience of that existence, right? Okay, now if my experience of your existence rests inside your subjective experience of this journey, is this journey, in fact, the skeleton of my own relative experiential mental subjective construct?
