Text message notification with incoming emails?

On my phone through email and it would text me every time... there is a feature that you would have to open your mail and go into preferences... once there you find text one and change to yes...

How do i get my iphone text message notifier to just say "New Text Message"?

No. likely because i hit upon it troublesome to variety words on the phone so i do not blame that human being for being lazy of their textual content messages. regardless of the indisputable fact that, if that human being despatched it to me more beneficial than one time an afternoon, i must be very aggravated. quite if I respond to it - and get no longer some thing lower back.

I think when you say “normal message” you mean an SMS / Text message, and the top differences between an SMS and a push-notification are below:SMS messages are sent to phone numbers…so as long as the sender has your phone number she can send you an SMS message. In contrast, push notifications can only be sent to people who have downloaded the sender’s mobile app and still have it installed.Push notifications these days can be pretty rich in it’s format — for example, you can embed images in the message (background typically); you can control/play different kind of notification sounds when they are delivered; you can put interaction buttons on them and more. In contrast, SMS — which actually stands for Short Message Service — is restricted primarily to simple text in its format.SMS messages don’t need you to have a “data plan” to receive them. Of course it depends on your telco provider and plan, but typically voice/sms are bundled together. In contrast, push notification requires a data plan (or WiFi connection) for you to receive themhope this helps

Sidekick LX has no New Message Notification anymore. How do i fix it?

in case you do not make plans on getting an information plan, you're gonna go with to pay attention of textual content message expenditures. it truly is typically round 10 - 15 cents in accordance to despatched or gained message. in basic terms flow into settings and into sounds or alerts. seem for something to do with messages. that's going to be fairly self explanatory.

If you block someone on Hotmail, it’s called blacklisting them, and no: they will never know they’ve been blacklisted.Mail YOU designate “blacklist” never will reach you at all. Unlike “whitelist” mail, which will bypass all spam, and land safely into your INBOX, blacklisted mail will not even hit your SPAM account.Designating any e-mail account “blacklisted” is telling your e-mail host: “You know what? This e-mail is WORSE than SPAM. Consider it Ebola. I don’t even want it in my SPAM account.”You won’t ever even get near it, and since these processes are automated, and webmail servers and those who run them are WAY too busy to send alerts for these? No one will take a nanosecond’s time to tell the e-mail account who’s been designated too awful and contagious:“Hey: this person hates you more than SPAM. Have a nice day.”They MAY wonder why you’re ignoring them, of course, if they aren’t a SPAM bot, and if they’re desperately in love with you, this MAY be a good time for you to buy stock in Ben & Jerry’s…But if you’re concerned about the awkward situation of receiving an e-mail from yet ANOTHER account, saying “Hey, (tearful emoticon here) why’d ya block me on Hotmail? Was it all the OTHER tearful e-mails? Be honest!” …. be assured they will only be GUESSING.You may feel completely free either to ignore the new, pathetic e-mail, as the Casanova or Mata Hari that you are, or lie, like the 007-license-to-lie I now guarantee you have, either:“This user no longer at this address,” or “I’m sure I don’t know what you mean; I don’t even know HOW to block anyone…”Then go ahead and block the new e-mail, and so on, and so on.Still, I reassure you: unlike Twitter, or Facebook, where once blocked or unFriended, it’s obvious to a user they’ve been shunned, Hotmail (and also Yahoo) does NOT alert any blacklisted user they’ve been blacklisted.FYI: My sources for this are:Web Developer’s NotesPC MechHotmail(So you know I really checked this out for you.):::Here also is a link, if you want to block this person from Gmail (and everywhere else). There are helpful screen shots, and links at the bottom to just about every social media outlet.www.laptopmag.com/articles/block-someone-gmail

How do i stop getting email notifications to my cell phone?

hi there, if you go to this site: http://mobile.yahoo.com you should be able to edit your settings if you are logged in. This Mobile page is also accessible from your main mail page, on the top right, there are a few links, one of them says "Mail for Mobile." log in there and edit your settings you should be able to remove all the alerts totally or just edit the ones you don't want to receive.

Can I send a text message to a phone who has blocked my number?Sure you can, but the text will likely not reach the recipient. Even worse, unless you have other means to contact the recipient, you won’t even know that the text has been blocked.Similarly, if you call someone who has blocked your number, generally 1 of 3 things will occur depending on the method your number has been blocked. 1) You’ll hear the phone ring in a manner that never ends or reaches an end point. 2) You’ll be immediately sent to an automatic response before the call ends. 3) You’ll get their voicemail, but you’ll either be unable to leave a voicemail or the voicemail will be saved in the recipient’s “spam” box and the recipient will not receive any notification of the voicemail. In short, yes you can text or even call a blocked number, but odds are the recipient will have no idea unless they actively went looking for blocked messages. But even then, the message may ultimately not be delivered as original intended.

How to get cute custom e-mail notification?

I watched some Japanese and Korean drama and they got a cute notification when they receive incoming e-mail message. I would like to know where can I get that. I've tried SWEETIM and INCREDIMAIL those application are not the things I'm looking for :(
The animation is like full screen, animated, and with a cute voice saying "mairu dayo~" (you've got mail). I've been yahooing and googling these but I got nothing, those SWEETIM and INCREDIMAIL always came out, but that's not what I want :(
PS: it's for outlook. (but it would be really helpful if I can get the custom notification for my hotmail and yahooMail ^^)

This is a Sticky Notification and will not be removed until you act on it. Basically, this notification says that the internal storage is running out of free space and you should move some of the files out of the phone (or to an SDCard, if supported) to free up some space. Not freeing up the space will lead to a very slow/sluggish phone and some apps may even refuse to open.Unlock your phone and click on this notification, this should take you to your Storage Settings page and list out the space occupied by each category of files. Make a note of which type of files are taking up more storage. Typically, these will be Photos and videos. So, to clear the storage, better to move the photos and videos out of the phone and onto your PC. Next try to uninstall the apps which are used rarely. Do the same with games. If, all these fails, then take a backup of the important data and do a factory reset to wipe the entire device and start with a fresh slate.
