How much money do you spend on your kids school clothes?
every child gets 2 new pair of jeans, 3 new tops, plus socks and underwear, a new backpack, new shoes, and a dressy up sort of outfit every year (all other times during the year, it's yardsale and thriftshop specials unless they pay for it themselves). it's a fortune come check-out time.
Is ok to take your kids out of school for vacation during the school year?
There are several things to consider before you plan to take your kids out of school for some 'dad time' and a vacation. How well are they doing in school? Kids who are not solid A or B students might struggle with missing that much school. It can be very hard to catch back up unless they are very disciplined about their school work and are not already barely passing or behind to start with. What does their mother think about pulling them out of school? Are you two able to easily negotiate about doing things like this? Who will work to make sure your kids either do their schoolwork and homework ahead of time or who will help them study to catch up? There could be a problem if you take the kids on this trip and it's your ex-wife who is the one that has to be the taskmaster about schoolwork and meeting with their teachers. Are your kids involved in any other activities that they'd miss during this vacation? Sports, dance classes, band-chorus-chior, etc where they'd miss rehearsals, practices, important games, or performances? Have you considered visiting Florida during their Spring Break or Winter Break or the first week after they get out of school? Only you and your wife can decide how well your kids will do with any disruptions to their school work and schedules. Some kids do very well and some do not. Do you get paid for homeschooling your kids?
You do. You receive a payment in joy and a deeper connection with your family. You watch with pride as your child concurs obstacles and challenges. You watch them grow and learn and all the while you are rewarded with the knowledge that you have been instrumental in helping your child to prepare for adulthood. These things are priceless. As for mere money? You will put out a whole lot more than you bring in but it is worth every penny you invest in your child’s future.I did however teach at a homeschool co-op and received a small amount for each student.

I'm a guy, age 14. Every guy at school hates me, especially the black kids. They hate me because i dress different, i like to wear expensive brands because i have the money for it. I wear stuff like Air Jordan, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabanna, and TI$A. One time this black kid who is considered "cool" in our little insignificant middle school tried to mess with me because i was wearing a Levis X TI$A denim jacket and it makes me mad because he only has 2 pairs of shoes that he wears every day but he's considered "fresh" in this dumb school so him and his friends have the right to criticize me about everything. Kids (especially these black kids) do it every day, no matter what i wear, they always call me "gay" "whack" "pu$$y" and they sometimes joke around with me and call me fresh but i know from their tone, they're really being sarcastic. I've had the desire to just rough them up a little but i don't want to get suspended from school and i can't do it outside because i know they'll jump me. What should i do? I'm not going to stop no matter how jealous/angry/frustrated they get, they should get a job like me and make money to buy the things i have. I help my mom sometimes, she manages a construction company and my dad is a business man. My mom pays me like $100 a week which is okay for the work i do. Everyone i see at the high end malls in Annapolis (our capitol) i consider them waaaaaaaaaaaay better dressed than these kids at schol, they're fresh but if they came to my school they would be considered "whack" and maybe "gay". It's all because they dress like rich kids. Sorry for writing so much, please answer. Now!!
