How to train myself to exercise regularly?

i've exercised regularly for the last 6yrs.
i just set a goal and work to acheive it.
i have notebooks filled with my workouts.
i plan them out ahead of time and just do them.
sometimes i will miss a workout due to something coming up but probably way less than 10 workouts a year.
my goal now is just to maintain the fitness level i have which only takes me 30mins a day.
also, i figured out that they only way to stick to exercise is to develop my own plan and how much i am willing to work out regularly. i don't follow anyone elses routine. no p90x type stuff. i want to be the boss of me.
