How To Make Myself More Happy

How do i make myself feel happy?

Whatever you do, do not rush, or strive to impress the world. It will do you no good. Don't call yourself ugly because that is not true. Me personally i used to have the same attitude as you, even though I had friends, I still would always think I'm not good enough for anyone. I got teased alot because of my nose, I have a long nose and people would always make fun of it, to The point where I actually considered getting a nose job. But you have to appreciate who you are. Don't let people take advantage of you, and dont let insults bring you down, because that shows them you are weak, you need to be strong! I still have the problem of being too nice to where people take advantage of it. But like my friend told me "sometimes you gotta be an asshole" wich is true, because if you do this you will show them that your not here to serve anyone, and they should appreciate you more for being a straight forward person. Also everyday you wake up, thank the lord your alive to see and so are your parents, because it could be worse! Your parents couldn't have woke up today, or you couldn't have, but they were blessed with another day. And be sure to always give a positive energy, don't wake up or go to school with negative energy. And like I said don't stress to impress people!! If someone wants to be your friend then there ya go, if not then oh we'll, there loss, it was just meant to be. Btw sorry for the long response, but I really hope this helps.

P.S. it's good you asked this question, it's not good to bottle up emotions at all!

What can i do to make myself active and happy?

Personally I found exercising will accomplish both of those things you're looking for. For instance, jog for a few miles every day, lift some weights, bike, play sports etc.etc you get the idea. If you spend about an hour working out a day then you will have a higher energy threshold and I suspect you will feel "happier" as well. Exercise if known to release endorphins which give you a happy feeling, you will be able to sleep better, feel more confident and feel as though you accomplished something.

There's also other routes you could go such as picking up a better diet, finding hobbies, hanging out with friends but I don't feel like discussing those.

How can I improve myself and make myself happy?

You don't have to love what you already have. You can always thrive to get something better. And it this path of getting better that you should enjoy. And that will happen if you really like the path.I guess you are matured enough to understand the barriers in life. For laziness, There is no one who can make your laziness go away. For hesitation, you should take some tutoring on how to improve your interpersonal skills. Once your stage fear gets pulled out, you will have more confidence in life, which will lead to better social life, and probably you might find someone "caring" enough. There are few personality development tutoring available in market. Research about them and join one. They will groom you.If you say that you have some goals and dreams in your life, get serious about them and start following them. Remember, these are your dreams and goals. No one can motivate you to pursue them. No one probably understands them as you can. Most Important of all- Take it easy on yourself. Don't curse yourself everyday for the way you are. Things are not going to change overnight. Its a long process. Just try to keep your spirits high. Even 1 good friend is enough. You don't need 10 friends to make your life fun. Also, its perfectly ok to not have GF. You will definitely find someone one day when the time comes. Till then, enjoy your life by yourself.Take baby steps towards your goal. For e.g if you love movie making, start making some small clips of friends and families. Then join some institute that teaches you these skills. And then when you have enough confidence, pursue it as your full time profession. Even if you improve small things on daily basis, you will find yourself much ahead in your life when you look back after 1 year from now.

What do you do for yourself to be happy?

Being happy is a choice, not chance. And being happy resolves half of your dilemmas!!!This is the predominant reason why you should inculcate some habits, learn few hacks related to cognitive science or try something personal to keep yourself happy. Here are few hacks that I usually implement in my life to be happy:Avoid Procastination: Always try to complete tasks assigned to you or any sort of work related to you before the deadline. This can boost your confidence and you'll be ecstatic, in addition to this if you get a positive comment from you Boss, then that’ll give you enough momentum to complete your other tasks on hand.Avoid Negativity: Try to avoid negative comments or compliments .Reason they disturb your thoughts and you start being pessimistic!!.Always try to be positive. This will make your work super easy.Self Discipline: Always inculcate habits that will improve your lifestyle. For eg:Getting up early in morning.Running atleast 2 km.Read a book atleast for 30 mins before you go to bed.Meditate:Try meditating atleast for 10 mins a day.If it's too hard for you try breathing exercises like box breathing which will be very helpful in improving one’s focus.Gratitude: This is most predominant habit to develop that can even help you in developing a positive and sound mindset. Now as soon as you finish all your chores in the morning just sit down and write three things that you're grateful for. Practice it for a week and you'll see a lot of improvement in your mindset and thinkingReward Yourself: Now after doing all work and completing your tasks just give some rest to your mind and soul.Reward your brain with something special.Rewarding yourself is somewhat similar to the paycheck that you get at the end of each month when you're in job.But I agree that you can't be happy always!!!Fine, try to cheer-up yourself whenever you feel low!! We just need one subtle reason to be happy (or to be sad ) just find the right one.And lastly many people have a misconception about happiness. Let me clear that for you. Happiness isn't getting all you want. Its about enjoying all that you have, so instead of whining about the detriment of the situation or dilemma, just look at the positive side of it.Thought for the day:“ Very little is needed to make a happy life;It is all within yourself, in your way of thinking”.-Marcus AureliusGracias!!!Edit: Any edits done are appreciated.Images: Google.

How can I make myself look happier?

You have to practise this in front of a mirror a little bit, but it is worth the effort. First, totally relax all the muscles in your face. You want your face to be as smooth as possible. Then turn up the corners of your mouth ever so slightly. Most people will achieve a "pleasant" sort of look. Not exactly happy, but content, maybe. If you work at it a bit, you can get into the habit of this being your "default" look. It does require some effort - kind of like learning to have good posture. But it works.

How to make yourself happy?

I recommend:
~ Make the decision to be a happy person. Yes, a certain event can cause sadness or joy but day-to-day happiness is a result of your personal decision on how you choose to be, not something that others do for you. You can choose to enjoy things during your day; a walk, your work, meeting people... many things. You would feel better and others would truly enjoy being around you and seek your company, a self-reinforcing cycle.
~ Enjoy your work (work for others, school or even housework) and always try to do a very good job. Work gives meaning to your life. Even lowly tasks when performed well make you feel good about yourself. The results accumulate and others will notice that you are capable.
~ Avoid most daily news reports. It is not necessary for you to worry about the tremendous number of things in the world about which you can do nothing.

How can I make myself happy especially when I’m broke?

What I am hearing in this question is related to two ideas—money and happiness. These terms are used interchangeably, and they should not be. Money and happiness are distinct concepts. One is not dependent on the other. What you need to focus on is your well-being or satisfaction with life. Happiness is such a subjective term. How do you define happiness? If I were to ask you to describe five qualities of a happy person, what would they be? What does a happy person do that you are currently not doing?I think a better term is being fulfilled or satisfied with your life choices. I rarely describe myself as “happy” but rather I say things like, I feel positive about recent choices I have made or I am satisfied with that outcome. One of the most fulfilling times in my life occurred when I was broke. I literally had nothing. You know what changed? My thoughts related to happiness. I too thought that money = happiness but then realized that I was more concerned with the type of person I was; who I was and what my character represented. I changed my thinking about happiness and determined that having money was not part of that equation.Your “self” is not dependent on money. Find things that help you to be fulfilled or satisfied like helping someone or doing something nice for someone without them having to ask you. Discover who you are and enjoy your family and friends. You may find that you feel “happy” without having to put other conditions on this happiness.
