How can i make myself less sore from practice? ?

Try stretching all throughout the day, no matter how hard it is. Put cold or hot compresses on your muscles that are sore. Take some Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain. Then try practicing a lot at home and stuff first to make you less sore, get into shape easier/quicker, and to improve your overall condition. Don't forget to drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated, it will help a lot. Maybe take some vitamins, and eat very healthy to help with your energy and muscles.

How can I motivate myself to practice piano?

Extrinsic motivation ( getting something from outside - a treat, etc.) is not nearly as powerful as INTRINSIC motivation (you do it because it is the good thing to do for YOU). Each day, set yourself a micro-goal - you are going to play one hand, one line, of one piece, with only a FEW mistakes. Do not even say *perfect* - that puts pressure on you. Make it something that you cannot fail at, but that you can see yourself get a teeny bit better. I am a professional musician, and *I* hate to practice, too - unless I have a goal. But - I hate for the phone to stop ringing, too. And not working in this business, but having to do ANY icky job is worse. I have heard actresses with hot bodies declare (not complaining, just telling us) how many hours it takes of EVERY day in the gym to look as good as they do. If you want something of value, it's SUPPOSED to be hard -otherwise, everybody would have it, and it would be worth nothing. You have a parent who was spent a pile of money on something because they KNOW that it is good for you. If you just read these lists, you can see all those people you age who would LOVE to have lessons. I have a student (adult) who played a little bit (flute) as a child, and now is a nurse - she plays her flute - not all that great, but she plays - for her terminal cancer patients in the hospice she works at. The *simplest*, easiest melody, played slowly, brings them comfort. I bet there is something you can play RIGHT NOW that would soothe someone, or help bring them peace. Learn something nice for Valentine's Day - something easy, even one line of melody, and play it for someone you care about- how about MOM??

Go -read - and see if you can then practice for even 10 minutes - it beats NOT practicing, because you will see results. It's like exercise - ANYTHING is good, and anything is always better than nothing! Discipline makes you an adult - whining and laziness keeps you a child, and not in a good way!

I explain it with small real life example.My friend X is college topper,ok. He can sit for hours together, without getting out of his room or taking any breaks. He completes the chapters before they are even taught in our classes. Rest of the time, he spends on laptop coding, practising programming and way ahead in terms of technical knowledge is concerned.Now me, I hate to study the subjects, I asked him how he does that. His reply was “I just love it, I want to be the most badass coder in our college”. So I kind of tried following his advice to improve my grades, studying with him, etc, when i am with him i was productive,but when i was all alone and I wanted to study, i was not able to, i was deviated easily, spent hours watching some youtube videos, gaming, movies etc.“So his drive or hunger for achieving greatness is more than my hunger or willingness to improve my marks. It was his passion, mine was to survive from getting failed. I get easily deviated by videos of Messi’s dribbling, Iniesta’s passing, Ronaldo’s goal scoring, Maldini’s defensive skills, or game of thrones, ISIS, political news, Euro’s 2016, Copa america, but he doesn’t give a damn about those things. How can i make myself less tired after football practice?

I didnt know teams do two a days once school started, no one from around where i live does. Anyway, drink as much water as you can BEFORE you get thirsty. Maybe start taking a vitamin, or a protein shake after practice. I dont really know, our practices are never hard yet we still win 9 or 10 games a year.

I think you're asking the wrong question. You shouldn't be looking at how many hours you need to practise, you should be looking at the requirements for the Julliard auditions and evaluating how much you need to learn between what you're capable of playing now, and what you need to be capable of to pass those auditions. If you don't currently have a private teacher, get one to help you prepare and plan.

Just telling someone a certain number of hours they should be practising doesn't address their needs. Too much practise can be detrimental, if you're practising the wrong things or techniques beyond what you're ready for. Talk to your teacher about your aspirations, and get his or her help drafting a practise regime that will strengthen your endurance as well as your technique. Your teacher may have to work with you on certain things that will bridge your current technique with the things required of the Julliard entrance auditions.

If you're in high school, anything more than two hours on a weekday is unrealistic, I think. Most schools will look at your high school grades as well as listening to an audition, so keep up with your regular schoolwork as well as working on your music.
