How to make my hair not stand up?
When your hair is wet part your hair on the opposite side flat and tight against your head.Do this right after you get out of the shower.Let them dry with a clip or pin to hold them in place. You may blow them in that same direction but do not lift the hair. When the rest of your hair is done and that area is dry part them on the regular side and see if they stay down.Most heads of hair has a side which lays flatter then the other you may just need to switch sides until you get a little more length.
Can't stand long hair, questions about short hair?
I can't stand my long hair any longer, it is about down to my waste. I live in humid Florida & am a mom to a one year old. I hate how time consuming it is, and am ready for a change. Unable to get into my salon this week, I thought about taking the scissors to it myself but have now decided to wait. I want nothing longer than chin, I want my neck to be exposed & have contemplated on getting a short pixie. Has anyone else gone from having really long hair to super short hair? What do you like about short hair? Is it easy to mantain?
My hair stands up and how do i fix it?
Im a 19 year old male, and ever since i hit puberty way back then, it seems like every single hair strand on my head stands up from the front, top, back, and sides (all over). I get a crew cut once every month because my hair does look alot better that way. I try water and hairspray but still doesnt work. Also on my front right side of my hair line, i think i have whats called a cow lick that never goes down (was born with it). If this of any information, i have very thick hair. Ive used gel but i dont like how it makes hair look so shiny and hard. So can anyone tell me a product or something i can do to make my hair go down especially on the sides.
How to make head hair stand up (forever).?
My hair sticks up when they're real short like half an inch long. But when they start growing to be... say like 2-3 inch they just slant down and it doesn't look appealing to me. I want my head hair to naturally stand up forever without the use of having to put on gel every time, is there any technique or shampoo that I must use? This happens to me too only on one side of my head. I just use a bobby bin to hold the majority of them back. Try gel or try parting them a different way

The thing to do is to grow the hair longer so it lays flat. Alternatively, a flat top crew cut will make spiky hair flat while it is standing up. Sounds like you have ideal hair for a short pomp(pompadour) style-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut. A barber with a good aesthetic sense can usually design a short pomp style to fully suit most young guy's head shape, face and neck shape, frontal hairline and facial features. With a short style, the issue is when the hair wont stand up not when it won't lay down.
Do girls like long hair or short hair on guys?
Just a fair warning to guys, keep in mind more women likely to answer this question probably already think they prefer long hair on men. In most examples women like this give, they post a bunch of photos of male models and celebrities who are already good looking and have had professional stylists handle their hair and photographers to make sure the photos they take look the best they can. I know from personal experience it likely hurt more than helped and is way too much effort to justify. An exception maybe is if you have thick, darker, naturally wavy hair that looks masculine. If you have finer, flatter hair, you’re likely going to look weaker and geekier, or like a metal head stoner, unless you’re Brad Pitt, and at that point may only appeal to younger women into edgy looking guys (if you are also in your early to mid 20s). That said, if you don’t feel right with short hair and prefer long hair on yourself, make yourself happy and you’ll likely be able to find some women okay with it as long as you look good and healthy in other ways.
