How To Make Videos On Youtube Play Without Them Bluffering

Youtube videos buffering, buffering, buffering?

I'm on a MacBook Pro attempting to watch some youtube videos. Unfortunately, they won't stop buffering. Once they start playing, they play for a few seconds and then pause again. Now here's the real kicker. I left the video on pause and let the entire thing load, and even THEN it wouldn't play. This is happening on more than one video and more than one video watching website.
PLEASE help, I am SO annoyed right now!!
Oh, I did download some software that said it'd stop that from happening but it didn't work in the slightest bit. So that was awesome.

How do I stop the buffering of a YouTube video?

Most likely, one of the following things are at fault:Slow internetPoor Wi-Fi signalSlow wireless router/access pointSlow wireless adapter in client deviceIf you go to Speedtest.net (download the app if you’re on a phone) and do a basic speed test, you’ll get an idea if it’s one of those things. Unfortunately, it won’t tell you more than that, as all of these issues will affect the speed of the internet reaching your computer or other device, but it will confirm that it’s not a more exotic problem. If you’re seeing slow speeds (say, less than 10 Mbps), your buffering is probably due to one of these four reasons. To investigate signal strength, try moving to where you’re directly next to your router and re-test. If it’s faster, signal strength is probably a contributing factor. Mvoing the router, adjusting the antennas, or just getting a better, stronger one may resolve this issue more permanently. If you can connect via Ethernet, do that and re-test. If your speeds are better, it’s probably due to a cheap, slow wireless adapter in your device or in your wireless router. If it’s a reasonably high-end device (>$400) or router (>$50), it’s probably not the culprit. But you can look up the specs just to be sure. Nowadays, you really shouldn’t bother with anything less than dual-band wireless-N (may be listed as 802.11a/b/g/n or just 802.11n). If you’re running a single-band wireless-N access point or device, you should probably upgrade anyway, although a single-band client should fast enough. Get something with wireless-AC if you can. But if you’re already dual-band N or AC, you’re just fine. And if you’ve resolved all of the above, it’s probably just your connection speed. Basically, talk to your ISP and see if you can get a faster connection. Or if you’re in an area that supports it, check out Google Fiber. In my apartment, I can get 100 Mbps through Ethernet, and I literally never have to wait for YouTube to buffer. Yeah, I’m a bit spoiled. :D

Why do my youtube videos keep stopping( buffering) never had a problem before?

When in doubt, reboot, Or try cold booting it (shuting it down and letting it sit a bit).

Sometimes a internet connection will do something weird and a website buffering something will get confused but if it does it consistently, I assume you should reboot. My machine does something similar when I uninstall a program or something else and don't reboot and it will get all annoying and all media will play with no sound at all, or two seconds without sound and stop.

Right click the youtube window and see if it says flash player ten. If it doesn't install flash player ten. If all else fails, uninstall all adobe flash things (control pannel>add or remove programs and re-install flash ten. If you have a mac, http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157)

Good luck!

My computer will not play a video without stopping and buffering?

Some videos can be to large of a file and won't play, or depending on your computer size the resolution of the video could be to large to withstand all at once. Or it could be the site running
slowly. Youtube especially will run slow, it turns into a matter of patients.
Sometimes changing the browser you are using helps as well. Try the latest Firefox browser, and see if that will spend things up.

Why do YouTube videos re-buffer when you rewind?

Cause Google sucks, in a short answer.Google have been making youtube worse with every "improvement" they make.First they removed the pause video feature. And introduced a "feature" that lets buffer part of videos in "slices". Their aim was to let the video buffer dynamically according to the speed of broadband. For this to take effect they removed the ability to let user select the quality according to their choice. And now even if you want to watch a video in just 360p, Youtube automatically changes quality on the fly, many times taking it to higher quality like 720p. Needless to say, it makes bufering even worse.Since they introduces this feature of buffering in "slices", it stops the buffering if you pause the video, and then automatically starts to buffer again, if you unpause it. This have been a major annoyance for those with low bandwidth. This also makes the video rebuffer when you rewind, since youtube "buffers dynamically in slices".Just recently youtube also have come under flak, for making users to "activate" Google+ account, just to comment on a YT video. Well, Google is making youtube suck more and more! :(

I can’t understand, how does a YouTube ad plays without buffering and each and every time almost video buffers at some time?

Ads in youtube are cached into local servers..!!!.. (like if you are staying in tamilnadu, tamil ads will be played…. Not all time of course)Hy i have also thought about it but the ads are cached at local data youtube centers….. As a result they play faster than youtube videos…..Ads will also buffer…for example…i encountered a situation when i browsed a video with my wifi just switched on….. The ad took time to play…this shows that it also needs net, just because they are localised they need only a feable net amount…….Hope it helps…!!!!My regards!!!

What do I do to stop videos from buffering?

According to an article published on eMarketer, it has been observed that the video viewing experience for around 60% of survey respondents was found to be immensely frustrating due to the buffering. Also, almost 54% of the respondents switched to trying on later. There were also a minority of respondents which constituted approximately a quarter of the sample size who were found to give up on the entire video service.WHAT IS BUFFERING?The answer to this is that for playing a certain video on a particular device, there is a prerequisite of data which needs to be downloaded first in order to support the device for playing the particular video in the best possible manner. Here are some steps which can be taken with regard to,HOW TO STOP BUFFERING?Providing undivided attention to video streamingThis means that while the video is streaming, it demands undivided attention of the internet and server for preloading its data such that it can be watched seamlessly without any interruptionsIn order to create a larger amount of buffer, stop or pause and then playVideo buffering occurs when sufficient data is not made available for its streaming online. And sometimes a particular video may get hanged up or dropped when data is insufficient for it to stream or download.Erasing or clearing the cacheSometimes even hoarding up the data in the cache might hamper Netflix buffering while watching an episode of the favorite season or series.Updating internet plans or packages for achieving better speed and dataSometimes it is also the internet plans or packages which are responsible for the fact that Youtube keeps buffering and hampers the viewing experience of the digital content of a particular subscription[Read More]

Why do Facebook videos not use buffering like YouTube, Vimeo, and other video streaming sites?

Facebook video's keep downloading on page it self, it doesn't matter you had clicked on play button or not, the moment you login on your facebook account, it's start downloading and the moment you click on play button video start without buffering. It's my understanding because the yesterday it self I found that when I click on one video it was half buffered already and to just try I clicked on above video which was shared by someone else, that played till end without any buffering. Note : I do not use optical fiber cable connection, just normal broadband. Thanks
