How To Message A User From Youtube

How to send a private message on youtube.?

It is not difficult. As per Google (Youtube) Help. (refer url link)

You can use YouTube to send private messages and comments to other YouTube users. To do so:

Log in to your YouTube account.
Visit the Channel of the person you with to send a private message to. You can do so by clicking their username as it appears in search results or beneath one of their videos, or directly visiting their Channel at youtube.com/user/theirusername.
Once you're on the user's Channel page, click the arrow next to their username, located underneath the About section.
Once you're on the user's Channel page, look under the About section and click on the arrow to the right of the username, then select Send Message from the drop down menu.

You can then write a message, just like an email, and attach a video through the Send Message interface if you desire. When you are finished writing, click the Send Message button.

The user will be able to view your message in their YouTube Inbox. You can access your inbox by clicking your username in the top right corner of any page and selecting Inbox. They'll also receive an email letting them know they've got a new message if they have automatic email notifications enabled in their Email options.

How do you send a private message on YouTube?

You can try to do so from the ‘About’ section on the main page of a YouTube channel. Often a channel owner leaves a contact email in this section so that they can receive feedback directly. But this is not necessarily true for all. If there is an email associated with the channel, then you can contact on that. You can even ask for a contact in one of the video comments and see if the creator responds, which will be possible if they read all comments on their videos or get notifications for the same. There is no direct private message mechanism otherwise.

If I block a user on YouTube, will they get a message to that effect if they try to send me a PM?

I don't know whether they'll be told that you blocked them, but they will notice that you're not answering them – or perhaps you don't answer people's comments in your YouTube feed.If you don't, what's the difference between blocking them and ignoring them?

Can you message YouTube subscribers?

you can message anyone you want. Click their channel name and make sure it opens up to their channel. Click the about tab and there should be a button that says, "send message". That's for individual messages. Honestly, I don't like the new system.

On YouTube, what does blocking a user do?

They can still watch your videos, but they wont be able to message you or comment on your videos.

So it pretty much takes away the hater spam.

Why can't I reply to private messages on YouTube?

I'm having the same problem.

Sending private messages using YouTube API V3 is not implemented and at the same time this feature in the old API is not working anymore. Will Google support this feature in the new API in the future or not?

Going to have to go with no here, as the following link can explain.YouTube API v2.0 – Messages and Video SharingTl;DR: They have replaced all functions they are going to replace. The rest are depreciated. Now how to get around this? You can’t really. It looks like this is an anti-spam measure, as you have to actually dig around to be able to send a message now.1st you have to go to the users channel, then you have to click on the about tab, and then only if the user allows it, will the ‘send message’ button appear, small and nondescript in the corner of the frame. They don’t want you to send a message unsolicited. Also they make you solve a captcha before they will even show you the email to contact them.Basically Google has shifted away from private communication on YouTube, they want you to connect on Google+ for that type of thing. There really isn’t a reason to be able to mass message people through the API other than SEO/Marketing reasons anyway, you can do better than that old trick, I promise it wouldn’t work now anyway. There is a way to grab contacts though through YouTube and that is from comment scraping. It’s a bit of a dick move though, because you are grabbing peoples contact information unsolicited.Gonna have to go back to the drawing board on this one I’m afraid.More at the blog http://buyviews.co/blog

Has Youtube removed the option to send a private message?

No. YouTube hasn’t remove the option to send private messages. I can still send private messages by going to ‘About’ section of a YouTube channel. Here is how you can send someone a private message:Go to the channel of the person you want to contact and click the “About” tab.Click “Send Messages” button, enter your private message and click “Send” button.Remember: There are many channels who do not have an "about" section. You can’t send private messages to such channels.

How can I fix YouTube error 500?

Believe it or not, this is a LEGITIMATE error message from YouTube itself and their bad attempt at humor. Don't worry about the "monkey" reference; your computer hasn't been hacked. However, this is a bonafide "500 Error".I did lots of googling, searching, and reading about this matter a while agoand here's what I was able to find out: That "500 Internal Server Error" is a "general" HTTP status code, meaning that it is unable to be more specific about what the exact problem is. However it's definitely a server-side error; therefore the problem isn't your computer or internet connection but rather YouTube itself and its "host" servers. This is my actual reference -- written-out in full -- followed by it's direct link:pc support . about . com / od / find by error message / a / 500 server error . htm http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerro...Therefore one of the obvious things you can try to do is hit the "F5" key or click the "Refresh" icon. You should also try your Back / Forward buttons.I don't know if this trick will work for you, but you might want to consider it. This '"Best Answer'" of mine has received 5 stars from 100s of people who suffered from "Error 400" messages. With YouTube Messages gone, what's the best way to DM someone for giveaways?

Some channels have their contact info (email address) in their About section. Otherwise you should see if they have links to a Twitter or Facebook or other social media, and message them on there.
