What is the best gun in Modern Warfare 2?

It depends entirely on your style and the gamemode, and even what system you are playing on. My experience-If you are good at assaulting enemy positions, you want an SMG, particularly the UMP-45 with a silencer. This pairs great with cold blooded and marathon. The P-90 and Vector are probably next in line.If you are good at shooting at medium range and moving between cover, then you want an assault rifle or LMG. The best assault rifles on PC are the ACR and SCAR-H. Player accuracy on console is far worse than it is on PC, so higher damage is much more important than low recoil. On console, the best assault rifles are the SCAR-H and the AK-47, the FAMAS is good too. Assault rifles pair well with grenade launchers… But please don’t abuse it. In lieu of a grenade launcher, take an RPG-7 or a shotgun. My personal favorite is the semi-automatic tube fed one (forget the name) with extended mags. The Model 1887 is good too. If you are into LMGs, then the two best ones are the RPD with grip or the Steyr AUG with anything. I prefer the RPD.If you are a sniper or prefer shooting at long range, then use the Intervention or Barrett 50 Cal, or an LMG. You had to beat the campaign to unlock the zombies mode but after 2012’s successful Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 they made the original zombies mode in World at War accessible if you did NOT beat the campaign.The first Call of Duty game NOT made by Treyarch to have zombies was Advanced Warfare. The original game did not have Zombies, unless you went into a hacked COD4 lobby on PC.
